Posted .Hello - While this unit does boast the ability to create rich bass tones, the addition of an external subwoofer will always result in better performance from a bass perspective. VIZIO does offer sound bars that come equipped with a wireless subwoofer if this is the type of performance you're seeking.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. The Sound Bar can only play the audio it is receiving. With most content the volume can fluctuate. Many Commercial companies or broadcast stations will adjust the volume of certain programming or content to make it louder or softer than others to catch the attention of the viewer. This sound bar has a built in feature called TruVolume that helps to prevent this fluctuation. If assistance is needed feel free to reach out to our customer service team.
