Just needed a little extra sound as we are getting old. This does the trick and at a more than reasonable price.

After going through connection process, which was fairly straightforward and easy, soundbar seemed to work well. This was a short-lived experience. Noted two con's: 1) Volume and Mute buttons do not synchronize with TV's control as other soundbars have done. This means use of two remote controls is required, with Volume and Mute buttons, in order to operate sound functions. 2) After almost 2-weeks of use, the soundbar stopped projecting any sound. After trying everything possible, husband called Vizio, who walked him through a hard-reset to correct the problem. Vizio commented that "This happens every month or so with this model." Husband was able to do the hard-reset with the soundbar in place, although disabled veteran. Because I am shorter in stature and also disabled, I would not have been able to do the reset and would have had no sound on the television, because we discovered when the Vizio remote stops, both remotes fail to function. If purchasing, suggest placing television and soundbar where hard-reset is easily done, rather than mounting TV on wall and soundbar beneath, as we have done. Husband is double degree Electrical and Electronics Engineer. Gives this item a poor design review needing upgraded with better reliability controls. Initially selected one Star for each of the nearly 2-weeks the unit functioned properly, despite having no synchronized sound, before failing and needing the hard-reset through working with Vizio. Spent more than half hour trying to get sound by rebooting system, etc., prior to calling Vizio. Working the hard-reset with Vizio took about another half an hour. Since Vizio said this happens every month or so with this model, plan to lose about a half hour or more trying to contact Vizio and work the issue each month...or so. Final Note: The design failure in this unit requiring a Hard-Reset on a monthly, or nearly monthly basis, should be in the Users/Operation Manual and IS NOT. After reading this review and recalling all of the issues we continue to experience with this unit, we have reduced this item to a one star experience. We will be replacing this item. Do not recommend purchase of this item.

Quality is ok for the price. It lacks the base but that's understandable.

Bought this for my mom so she could hear the tv better. Easy set up and excellent sound quality. She is very happy with it.

This was a good cheap purchase but so far so good. I like that the sound is clear and it’s almost as if you are in a movie theater.
