A: I have a Vizio TV, but I think the issue can be with all TV brands. I had the same issue. Not only did my bar not come with the connector cables for sound, but the User Manuel doesn't help. So at some point the Sound bar says, FORMAT IS NOT COMPATIBLE, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR TV AUDIO SETTINGS To FORCE PCM. Hope this helps. Now I'm taking it back to Bestbuy , to get a refund since it doesn't have the sound cord .
Q: What length is it and what kind of audio connection to the tv and how is it powered?
A: The length is 20 inches. It comes with 2 different ways to connect to a TV. The best one to use is the "digital audio" cable connection. If your TV is older, there are also the old-style RC cables for hookup. those are the red and white tip ones. it's powered by a separate power cord that needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet.
Q: Can this be connected via Bluetooth?
A: It can connect via Bluetooth to your phone or tablet to play audio, but to connect to a TV you'll need a cord.
A: I think so. My own hearing is still pretty good, but my tv's speakers would rumble-buzz so loudly that I could only guess what the actors were saying. Now I have no problems understanding what is being said.
Q: Can it be controlled by a Vizio TV remote?
A: Yes, there are instructions on how to sync your TV remote to the soundbar.
A: This is the only soundbar I have tried. Very easy to set up, basically plug & play. It did help with my hearing problem, but don't expect a miracle. I could not tell a lot of difference . Lowest price one I could find, probably better results with a higher end one.
A: I believe it's within an hour. I never manually turn mine off.
Q: can i mount it on the wall???
A: No, it is not recommended to be mounted on the wall.
