    The soundbar works as expected. I do believe that I find myself turning the volume up and down less than when relying just on TV speakers, so I think it is doing the job. I returned a different model because I was having problems with the optical cable (i.e., it wouldn't stay plugged in), but the optical cable with this one works nicely. No complaints for using it in a medium-sized apartment setting.
