Once the the television was mounted the first thing my daughter says, “now we have to get a sound bar.” You Have to have the volume all the way up to 60 to hear it if the water is running in the kitchen. One last thing is that the wireless only connects to the 2.4 GHz and not 5 GHz.

Can't be used, stuck in store demo loop.

I'm sure this may in fact be a good TV. The one I have is stuck in this Store Demo loop that I can't get out of. It will play from the antenna for about two minutes and then go right back to store demo. I dropped by the store and worked with one on the floor and I could change it the way I wanted to. The menu took me places I couldn't get to on mine. The Sales Associate gave me advice to try it one more time on mine and if it didn't work I was to bring it in which I haven't done yet. It's in a vacation home not too close to me. I was also afraid of damaging it. The packaging specifically warned against bumping or even touching the edges of the TV. I'm sure once I finally get it back someone will work with me on resolving this.

Got this TV as a small addition to the kitchen area. Worked fine at first, but after a month it’s done. If we get lucky and can the get the TV to actually turn on, it won’t load any of the streaming services. (It’s not a connection or wi-fi issue in the house. Everything else works fine.) Then unless we unplug it, it randomly turns on all throughout the day.
So disappointed. What a waste of $150.

Seems a bit fragile. I don't know if it's flawed or if the problem is with my cable company or if I hit the wrong button. It's the only 24 inch smart TV I could find. Limited sound. If I had it to do again, I would probably buy a larger one, different brand.

Vizio has gone downhill

This Vizio TV lasted just 8 months before randomly shutting itself off and in some cases requiring you to unplug it to turn it back on. Took it back to Best Buy, they sent it out for 2 weeks before Vizio told them to just refund the purchase price and 5 year Geek Squad Warranty. This is the 2nd Vizio that has had problems.

This TV does not let you add new apps easily and has a light that flashes constantly while watching. One of the two I bought also randomly turns on in the middle of the night.

Not crazy about this tv. The sound is horrible as seems to be the issue with Visio. It takes forever to turn on, and almost never link up with wifi.

Great for Kitchen or Home Office

Recently purchased this new Vizio model to slightly enlarge viewing from different spots in our kitchen. For a 1080p smart TV, this one has a truly stunning picture. Coupled with a Roku streaming player, it is perfect for our needs. Yes, the bottom-firing speakers are a bit anemic (only 2 watts) compared to some other sets, but I have found that the sound levels also can vary quite a bit from station to station, or between different apps. That said, the speakers do have their limits, but in the kitchen area, it is just about right. I would surmise the same would be true for a quieter home office set-up. At this screen size, you may have to consider prioritizing sound vs. picture. The beautiful Vizio picture in a 24" package made it an easy choice.
Installation was very easy, perfectly following the start-up guide (just following the on-screen prompts is easy too), and it took only a couple of minutes. The absence of a digital audio out was not a problem due to the location and intended use of this TV. As reported in some reviews, the remote is quite sensitive to the touch, so it just takes some time and a light touch.
Overall, this is a great option for a 1080p and a smaller screen for a kitchen, home office, or small bedroom, especially where gaming or big sound is not a factor. Despite comparatively weaker sound and a somewhat touchy remote, at this price point of $139, it is hard to beat such a great buy for a 24" smart TV.

Bought this tv for my daughter's dorm. We set it up but it kept giving an error message "Smartcast loading". It had the message for at least 3 hours and never loaded.
I called Vizio Customer Service. They gave me some really long instructions to do, needless to see they didn't work. Total lemon.
Took back to store and received a full refund.

Purchased for my daughter's college dorm. Took 4 hours one day, 4 hours next day and couldn't connect to net flix, hulu, etc. Thought it was college wi-fi/cable, but no it wasn't! On third day brought our Samsung from home and set up in 30 minutes! Never again will buy a Vizio!

The audio was terrible on this TV! Turned up to 100% and still couldn't hear it. Sales associate sold me a sound bar to connect for giving a better blast. Low and behold, there was no Optic cable connection on the back of the TV, and neither was there a port for an HDMI cable on the sound bar. So the TV was useless. I took it back and exchanged for another brand.
