Great Small 1080P SMART TV
|Posted .These days, it's hard to find a brand name 1080P SMART tv under 32". In fact, none is available from all the big names. Besides the Vizio, the only option is super-off-brands like Sceptre, Element etc. So, being limited in my options, I bought this for my kitchen. I must say I am surprised with the quality. I still won't put it as good as Samsung or LG 1080P 24" TVs from a few years ago, but it's pretty good. It has Chromecast built-in, so that's a plus also. The sound could be a little better, but the TV is so small, it's probably not feasible to put better speakers. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. One more thing - the picture on BB's product page shows the 32" version of this TV, which has a much slimmer bezels than the 24" version.

Great Buy!
|Posted .What a wonderful little TV! I wanted something small that could be easily moved around and this is perfect. The picture is clear without having to mess with the settings, better than I’d expected. It’s also a smart TV but I’ve hooked up my Amazon Fire Stick to it and they work well together. It’s got 2 HDMI ports. Was very easy to install and connect to WIFI, didn’t even look at the manual. It’s got a good sized remote with buttons for Netflix, Hulu, etc. The unit is all plastic, including the stand, but sturdy. Sound is good enough. TVs I’d compared in this price range were 720p (this one is 1080p) and did not have the smart tv function. For the price paid, I got more than I expected.

Great picture, bad UI
|Posted .I recently purchased the 24" Vizio HD SmartCast tv and overall I am decently satisfied with it. Since it does come with Google Chromecast you can send things to it as long as you're in a Google certified website or app, which is nice. However, it isn't a traditional Chromecast I don't believe. There are a very limited amount of apps that are downloaded to the tv, the rest have to be downloaded on a smart device and streamed to the television. This would be no problem if it were for things you would use less often, but it isn't. For example, I have DirectvNow, and I have to stream from my phone, which takes forever to load, and will only play around one episode on the guide before something goes wrong. I also can't pause a show for more than a three minutes without it skipping to the next episode at the end. I had to do the same thing when we were trying Sling. You would have to cast to the TV for most things you would want to do. The apps that are installed on the TV are Netflix, VUDU, Amazon Video, iHeart Radio, Xumo, Crackle, and some others that I've never heard of. The sound of it is decent although I am planning on buying a sound bar in the future to get rid of the rattle and odd effect that has happened on occasion. All in all, it is a decent tv that was a good purchase for how inexpensive it was and for how little I use it. If you're in a tight and need a decent tv for under $200 this would be the one.

Great RV addition

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I really like this little TV. It’s fits great in my RV bedroom. It presents a great picture and was priced perfectly to not break the bank. Set up was straight forward and with it being a smart TV, no other hardware was needed to keep up with my favorite shows while on the road. It sounds and looks better than expected. I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

A lot of features for a great price
|Posted .I bought this TV for my guest bedroom. The setup was straightforward. I had a bit of a problem with linking to my Tivo Mini; but this was due to my Tivo network configuration, and not the TV. I was impressed with the features. Despite what the salesperson said, it had both ethernet and wireless connectivity. The picture is great, but the sound was a little weak, but not bad.

Q: QuestionCan this TV be used as a computer monitor? I'm assuming it would be via HDMI connection from pc to this TV.
Asked by 808GEEK.
- A:Answer Yes. It would work ok. A dedicated monitor would work better but with this you get a smart TV also.

Q: QuestionDo I have to use my cell phone, tablet or computer to use apps like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, sling tv etc?
Asked by Jack.
- A:Answer No, you do not have to use your cell phone, tablet, nor computer to use the smart apps. All of them plus others can be accessed using the remote that comes with the TV. In fact, the remote has shortcut buttons for Netflix, Hulu, iHeart Radio, on it. Once you connect the TV to your home WiFi, which was also very simple, you're all set. (Provided you have an account of course. Netflix, Amazon, etc.) Hope this helps. FLP01

Q: QuestionDoes this have wifi built in? Does it have a browser so i can suef themweb?
Asked by Cab.
- A:Answer You can't surf the web like on a computer or tablet using just the remote supplied with the TV. It does not have browser functionality, but it does have computer interface. With the remote, one can access the Internet content channels that Vizio selected and no more. These channels are Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, IHeart Radio, Xumo, VUDU, Fandango, Haystack TV, and Pluto. The first 4 most people are familiar with. The last five provide a surprising amount of content. Multiple news channels, free movies, pay to view movies, special interest channels, and streaming music. This TV comes with Chromecast built in. With Chromecast, anything you access on your computer can be viewed wirelessly on the TV. This is easiest when working with programs and applications that are Chromecast enabled like YouTube. For programs that aren't Chromecast enabled you can view anything from the Internet on this TV as long as Goggle is the browser you are using and you select "cast" from options.

Q: QuestionBest antenna for this tv . Will not be hooked to cable. thank you.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer We have had good success with a Mohu Leaf antenna mounted on an exterior wall. The absolute best antenna, though, is one mounted either in your attic or on the roof. The leaf-type indoor antennas are the good choice if an attic or roof mounting is not possible. There are many different brands of the thin, leaf-style antennas, so check out some reviews. Good luck.

Q: QuestionDoes this tv have edge lit leds or full array back lit leds thanks.
Asked by 1stcav.
- A:Answer This is an Edge Lit LED TV.

Q: QuestionDoes this TV have a glossy or matte screen?
Asked by LifeSox.
- A:Answer It has a flat/matte surface - NOT glossy. It does not show reflections as badly as some, especially glossy screens. Wish they all had screens like this. There is some reflected light, but I can watch it easily even with LED and fluorescent lights behind me without distracting glare.
