HARD TO SET UP.

Easy setup with Vizio 70" 4k

Most of the soundbars I found in this price range were only 2 channel capable and I wanted the clarity that a center channel would bring to conversations in movies and shows. Also, I wanted a little more bass response than a soundbar alone could produce. I had read reviews that indicated without the subwoofer the bass could be lacking for this model. The setup was very easy as I used the included optical cable to connect to my Vizio M70-C3 70" 4k TV and found that volume control was readily handled by the XRT500 remote from the television. I disabled the built-in speakers on my television and still use the same remote to control both the TV and the soundbar (though not all the features on the soundbar can be controlled by the XRT500 remote). I'm very happy with my choice and setup and would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a reasonably priced 3.1 soundbar solution (especially if they already have a Vizio TV).

Really helps hearing the tv so much better. Definitely not a replacement for actual surround sound but a huge upgrade from normal tv speakers.
