For the money; this is much better than the factory speakers on the TV.

I wanted something simple and easy to use and this is it

i bought this sound bar for the tv in my bedroom. I wanted a sound bar that put out decent sound but didn't take up too much space either. It has taken a few weeks to get used to. The remote control is small and there is no LED display on the bar itself with written words what setting the bar is presently on ( only white lit up dots in a vertical row, the more dots lit up the higher the treble or base etc. the fewer the dots the lesser the treble or base) so if you wish to adjust the sound at night in the dark, it takes some getting use to. So you have to know where the specific buttons are on the remote and adjust the "white dots" up and down to adjust the sound to get your desired effect. I would have liked the sub woofer to have a deeper bass level but for a small room, apt, or condo it works adequately. The bar is Bluetooth capable so you can stream music from your Bluetooth connected devices which is a nice feature. Although I admit I have had some difficulty resetting my sound bar back to the tv each and every time after I do this. It seems to cycles a few times before I can get to reconnect to my tv sound via optical cable. An Optical cable is included in the package with this sound bar. It is short in length but does the job and can save some money. All in all for the price, it is well rounded, does its job, beats the tv sound and after some getting use to it I would recommend it if you want a no frills bar and woofer for a fair price.

There wasn't a drastic sound quality increase after installing this with my samsung TV. I suggest something with a little higher quality and louder sound.

I was not looking to pay this much but I am glad I did. The sound is very clear which is important to me. Also, the bass is very satisfying It has a pretty deep rumble. When I play music through it it sound really good too. Gets pretty loud and I don't even turn it up all the way and you can still hear it throughout the house. I was looking at another model that was $30 less when I thought that while I was here I would go ahead and give this a try. I was very glad I did. The sound difference was huge and I was sold. Like I said it was more than I wanted to pay but the truth is I would not have been happy with anything less.

System volume jumps to higher or lower quickly and sometimes unexpectedly depending on tv show and channel. Not sure why? Also, with subwoofer there is an echo. Not too pleased with system. Would return however threw box away, so will have to make do with what I have.

The volume seems to be a little tricky. Sometimes level 3 will blow you out of your seat and other times you can't even hear it.

Purchased this unit for my theater room. It has ok sound but it is always out of timing with whatever it is hooked up to.

It was a good price and better than no surround sound but sometimes it decides to turn itself off.

Sounds like a garbage can hitting a brick wall. I shoulda got a better one for a few more dollars.

Horrible..didn't sound anything like it did in the store.

Wish we would have saved our money and spent it on something else.

soundbar should have been longer and woofer doesn't produce enough base

Hooked it up doesn't work to well, got it so I could eliminate the TV speakers, just doesn't work right, called the manufacture and they really didn't know what they were doing, waste of money

I spent about 2 weeks researching and going to stores to listen to different kind of sound systems and I chose this one even though it's not the most expensive, but WOW is the sound great, would reccomend over the Samsung or Sony sound bars anyday, will be getting another one for the basement

Sound is not clear - bit echoey; also sub woofer doesn't work well unless a lot of bass.

This was a good product with deep consistent sound. Less then one month after the manufacturer warranty was up the subwoofer would not power up. Vizio does not do repairs so now I have to find a local repair shop and spend more money on it. Very disappointed and would never buy Vizio again for sound!!!
