Great for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will say this is my FIRST sound bar, so I have nothing to truly compare it to. However, the amount of volume and bass you get from this sound bar is incredible. The only thing I didn't like was it only has 1 digital sound input so I had to buy a multi sound input, plug in all my devices into that and then plug that into the sound bar ... this allows me to have the sound bar work for my xbox, tv, dvd player, amazon fire box. Also the subwoofer produces amazing bass, especially if you place it where the instructions suggest. Great for the money.

Appalling sound quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dreadful. Volume fluctuates wildly for no reason, then goes off altogether. Whatever settings are used, dialogue is far too quiet and action sequences far too loud. So bad I have just disconnected it

Returned it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality was very tinny and grating. Even though the subwoofer was supposed to be paired out if the box, it never worked. Returned it

Excellant intro bar.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow truly amazed with the distinct channel sounds coming out of this bar. The dialogue may be turned up to hear talking easier with plenty of incident sounds coming out of the sides in the background that will not interfere with whats being said. The bass is fantastic for it's size as well. I brought back a Sony HT 780 that was a 150.00 more than the 3.1 Vizio and it did not compete with the sound. The 780 had more bells and whistles but not close to the wonderful sound the Vizio has. Plus I have an extra 150.00 back in my 'mad money' drawer. I will continue to investigate all Vizio products 1st for all my electronic needs in the future.

Pleasantly surprised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this a few weeks ago as an open box and actually when I opened it , it looked like it had never been unwrapped. I like that it is the right size for my living room and tv. The sound is excellent and am very happy with my purchase. I have tried several sound bars and one piece sound systems and this one is the best by far for the money. I would highly recommend!

Sounds just as good as my $400 soundbar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought the Yamaha 2.1 soundbar and LOVED it so much that I just needed to have another soundbar in my home, haha, but I didn't wanna spend much so the girl at the store recommended this one. I can honestly say that this is so comparable that I would have gotten two of these originally to save some more money! I do love my Yamaha one though and the bass is slightly better in the Yamaha. This Vizio 3.1 is excellent for the price!

Great sound in a small package
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending almost $1,000 for my Vizio 65" LED, I cannot understand how the picture can be so great, yet the sound is awful, but I guess that is the price you have to pay if you want a low profile screen. And not just Vizio, but any manufacturer for that matter. Fortunately I came across this 3.1 soundbar from Vizio. It is a perfect fit. My TV is in a wall unit, and space is limited, and rear speakers were not an option in my living room. The sound bar fit perfect under the TV on the wall unit. And the sub is tucked away in the corner. Sound is amazingly good, the sub produces deep lows. Best part is it works great with my Vizio TV remote. And shuts down automatically if no audio activity detected in 15 minutes. On sale for $199 when I bought it, you can't beat it.

Paired with my Vizio P60
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great, took 5 minutes to set up. Plenty of volume. Digital audio cable is very fragile but works fine. Subwoofer was already paired with the soundbar.

Pretty good sound bar under $200
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a Vizio 3.1ch sound bar along with Vizio M55 UHD TV. It produces pretty well-rounded sound, considering the $200 price point. Having a subwoofer makes a big difference in movies. But, it does require some adjustments, since factory setting can be out of balance. My sound bar's bass level was too high out of the box. My setting is treble: 0, center: 1, bass: -4. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a separate mid-frequence level control. So, I can't raise voice level in 2 ch movies. The sound bar has 2 features called "true volume" and "surround". The true volume didn't really work for me and the surround effect degraded the clarity of sound (especially mid-level frequencies), so I leave them off.

Okay for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for a decently priced upgrade to the terrible sound of your new television, this is a okay option. The sound it emits is loud, and the range is good (not a bad lower-end#, but there are a couple of faults in it that make me only give it 3 stars. 1.) If you have a Vizio TV, you will experience issues with the volume control. Turning up or down the sound on the TV will turn on the soundbar if it is off. And you know that terrible echo you get when both the TV and soundbar are on? It's enough to drive one crazy. The extra steps you have to take to keep this from happening #turn the soundbar on Bluetooth or a different input) are simple but an extra pain. 2.) The mid-range is over-powering at most volume levels. Granted, the lower-end bass is not terrible, but I have found that most television signals #Dish Network using optical cord) are mixed with the mid-range greatly overpowering the more pleasant upper and lower ranges. I have only played with the 3 channel EQ for 2 quick attempts, which leads me to my last gripe... 3.) Switching between inputs and modifying the EQ channels seems to take a lot of time. The soundbar is slow to react after a button-push. This adds to the frustration when fixing any of the issues above. Overall, I'm at the "meh" point of feelings about this purchase. It is okay for the money, but I kind of wish I researched and spent a little more to have a more user-friendly system. As it is my first soundbar, I guess I would recommend it for the price. But...I would state the above before doing so

Great sound for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading reviews on the LG 2.1 system but realizing I couldn't get it in time for the Super Bowl, I looked for another system and came upon this one. Although it cost a little more (it was even on sale), I think it may be the better purchase. I was surprised at the richness of the sound, especially the deep bass. I have a SONY HTST7 which costs a LOT more, but I don't think this is too far behind in sound quality. A great system for games, movies, etc.!

Very good sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a brand new 50'' Vizio 4K tv and of course this sound bar. The sound is very good but the sub woofer feels weak. I was expecting something more powerful but isn't that bad neither.

Fantastic sound bar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was originally going to buy the 2.1 Vizio bar off of Amazon, but I wanted to give this a try before I did. That center speaker makes a world of a difference. I am used this to replace my Bose Cinemate 1 SR and this thing blows the Bose out of the water. Bluetooth pairing with your phone and friends' is super quick and easy, the sound is fantastic, the sub is plenty for my apartment. And it looks good! Super happy I shelled out the extra dough for the 3rd speaker upgrade!

Great soundbar!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It sounds deeper and richer than the 2.1 LG soundbar it replaced. I bought this to go with my 65" Vizio TV and I have no regrets.
