    I bought this for my son who uses it for watching TV and gaming. It was a replacement for a 55 inch. Smaller size,but meets the needs.

    To get 1080i you need to use component cables, along with audio cables for sound. The newest up to date HDMI cable will only produce 720P. This TV is on a dresser in a bedroom. The stands are so far apart that it limits the angle that you can turn the TV toward the bed if the dresser is to one side of the bed or the other. This would not be a concern if the dresser were straight on with the bed.
