Q: Is this one of those Visio TVs that spys on you?
A: Yes, refer to page 38 o user manual. It's called Video ACR. Can be turned off using the RESET & ADMIN menu option.
Q: Are vizio TVs reliable ?? Last long never tried this brand ??
A: I have a Vizio that is three yrs old. It was hardly ever on over the last three years. Today it quit working. The screen just flashes on and off. Do not buy a Vizio, they are not worth the money if they do not last.
A: The TV is full 1080p not 720p. There is a cheaper model that is 720p, but you can confirm with a store associate to ensure you get the 1080p version in stores. Also it's listed in the product title "Vizio - 32 Class (31.5 Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Black".

Q: can i get local channels on this t.v. or do i need cable. what about an antenna?
A: You can get local TV apps on the TV yes. Those will allow you to watch clips of local news and top stories etc. You cannot watch live TV without an antennae though. I would suggest the Mohu leaf for an HD antennae.
A: You should be able to access the apps with the remote for the tv, I don't use my phone at all for it
A: I turned on game mode and use it as a pc monitor. Image is clear and smooth, haven't noticed any ghosting or motion blur that you can get with other TVs on a PC.
