    I've been a fan of Vizio for a long time. Every TV we've had in the last 10 years and every sound bar, all Vizio. We bought this TV because we already have a warranty claim out on our large V-Series. Main board. Been month and a half, replacement still on backorder with no end in sight. So this was to get us by. Get it home, plugged it in, let updates run, and that's when the fun began.... Sound off and on every few seconds. Slow to respond menus. UI would sometimes freeze so much, the TV would shut down. Menus only reading up command (not remote issue, tested several) Perpetual loading circle, even with apps like YouTube open (when you can get them open) Hallmark traits of another board issue. Soft resets, flea power drains, and factory resets did not solve issues. I still have some faith in Vizio as a brand, but 2 bad TVs in 10 months and a customer service system that is tricky as best to navigate have me wavering. Also means this one is going straight back to Best Buy instead of working with Vizio.

    Having lots of problems with the TV and Remote. I have to keep unplugging the TV to get the remote to work. IT has gear sound and picture.

    I have major regrets for purchasing this. The only thing that is worse than the picture is the sound!

    I purchased this tv because I was looking for an economical tv for my man cave and watch Directv stream. This TV doesn’t allow you to down the Directv stream app.

      Hello Firetvsavesmoney, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.
