Buy A Different TV

Posted .Hello BuyADifferentTV, thank you for taking time to leave us your feedback. This model is equipped with a 802.11bgn network connection. For dual broadband ability I would recommend the TV model V405-H9 that is still going to be the same size screen, but also a few other more advanced features and an additional HDMI input as well! While a 5GHz network does offer a better speed at times, it's signal and range is also less than a 2.4GHz network. You should be able to get a more than adequate connection and speed to cast and stream all of your favorite content using a 2.4GHZ network as well. Posted .Hello inlinejr, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.
