Don’t waste your money.

Posted .Hi Honestreview. If the home screen isn't loading, it ussually means the TV isn't getting out to the internet. Have you connected the TV to your home network? Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally gave in an upgraded my 6 year old flat screen for a smart TV. I was using a roku device and it got the job done but seeing that this TV had voice command capability it was a big selling point for me. The 40 inch is great for a bedroom and I think the sound is great for a bedroom. I read some reviews didn't prefer the sound but I can see in a living room or larger space you may want to have more amplified sound, get a sound bar. Here is why I knocked off one star. The Alexa voice command capability sucks. I followed all instructions on how to set it up and nothing worked. It says it's connected to my Alexa, it's not. I reached out to support who said it takes a few days for the software to update. Still had not. Luckily have a Google assistant as well and if you don't you can use your phone by downloading the app. It instantly found my TV and connected on it's own, I'll need to play around with it more to see what else it can do. For the Alexa this tv doesn't seem to cut it but using Google assistant it's great. Many apps don't have a download capability directly on the Vizio like Spotify but casting it from your phone or device you'll see it on the TV, once you play a song it will say available devices and select tv and it will stream it instantly, where you can use Google assistant to change the song or playlist etc... Vizio please work with Amazon on how to better connect their device. Hope this helped you!
