This TV is simply amazing. The smart features are kind of limited, but all the big names are there (hulu,netflix,amazon...). The real thing that mattered to me though was the picture and man is it great. Color is amazing, blacks are very black for an LED, gets bright enough for a bright room and looks amazing in a dark room. If smart functions matter more to you than picture then go for a Samsung, but if you only use the few big streaming services like I do and care more about how the picture looks, go with this TV.

The picture quality was awful. Dark: dim colours, and poor contrast. I returned it to the store, and upgraded.

My TV in the store was crystal clear and so I expected that instead every program has different color and tint and is not sharp. Really not satisfied with this TV and feel I should have been told it would not be the same as what I saw in the store. My TV is a 42" VISIO 4K Smart TV. Wish I had bought an LG which I now know is superior to this VISIO.

I love it just donut like that image changes a bit when not sitting directly in front.

Vizio replaced with a new one. So far so good. One week.

I like it but you can't download additional apps .

Impossible to review this item as it DOES NOT have a coaxial connection. A fact that seemed to be missed by every review I read. It was not until we took the TV out of the box that we realized it was unusable. Surely I'm not the only one to use cable TV?

My roomate has the Sony 4k X830C and side by side, the Vizio m series picture beats the Sony hands down. It's also faster for gaming. The local dimming technology that vizio offers is like nothing else. It appropriately lights individual portions of the screen whereas all other brands have equal lighting throughout the screen. What's the difference? When you are watching sports games such as basketball, each player is individually lit making the players very vivid, almost as if they are popping out of the screen. I also paid about $250 less. No doubt, I got a better TV for a better price.

I was a little disappointed in this tv once we got it home and hooked up. The picture was quite disappointing. It really doesn't look any better than my old flat screen which was not this type of tv. I really don't recommend this one.

I can sum it up this simply. Just spend a couple hundred extra dollars and get a Samsung LOL this TVs smart features was a joke

Have always been a Samsung guy but I took a HUGE chance on the Vizio m43-c1 4K tv and man I am not disappointed at all! I bought the Samsung un55js8500 and was not even impressed with what the tv offered compared to this tv! I have nothing but Samsung tvs in my house, but after this purchase I might have to reconsider if this tv holds up to what it's offering right now! I love the simplicity of the remote, push of a button and Netflix pops right up! No issues streaming at all and 4K is rediculous! I highly recommend this tv!

Product last 3 years; must be directly in front of tv to see image clearly. Remote is a very poor design with power button placement small in comparison to the built-in service apps buttons; most always a problem turning TV on with remote. TV is slow to power on; long wait time for a plugged in tv. Do not recommend, this was my first and last purchase of Visio products.

For the price you cant beat it.great picture and sound and 5 hdmi hookups.i always liked samsung picture but they wanted $750 just for a 40 inch.so this was $498 for a 43 inch.lot cheaper.they matched sams club price at $488

Contacted Visio on phone and after we hung up had to change out cable box. Nothing worked so after 4 hours I had to send them a photo. They finally told me they would send a new one. When I got the notice there delivery option were 2 or 3 weeks only on Monday. So I bought this tv in beginning of June and a replacement hopefully will work in mid July. From what they told me my warranty will start in June?

I was given this TV as a replacement for a LG which went bad after 2 years. Because of my service plan Best Buy replaced it with a Vizio on 3/17/16. Already the Vizio has vertical lines on the screen and it is being replaced on 4/22/16. I expected the TVs to last longer than this; they don't make quality products anymore,. I am happy with Best Buy and Geek Squads response to my problems.

Broken in six months, worked for a short while picture quality was good.

This TV is great, I didn't think I had a use for the web apps, but I find myself using them all the time now :) LOVE IT! I do feel I should mention I had some issues with my PS4 connecting to the TV. Sound was not working at first. Sometimes I have to switch back to TV/Cable Box input and back to PS4 and it works. This is pretty rare now, but it happens from time to time. I researched on some forums and found that this is somewhat normal for some TV models. I recommend taking the time to do a little research on compatible TVs for PS4.

Picture quality is excellent, also able to hook up multiple devices

Sound system is terrible, forced me to buy a sound bar. Loading a Netflix movie is slow, does not load ahead so stops part way through the movie to load more of the movie. This is not the case on. My non Vizio smart TV.

I was searching for a while for a new television for my bedroom and found this one. This was the best price and I already have a Vizio in my living room that works great. The picture quality is excellent (very sharp and clear). Sound is great even at the lower settings. Awesome tv and I would recommend to anyone. Also I love the fact that it comes with 5 hdmi ports! Very handy.
