Great Price for the Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pretty skeptical about buying this TV because i read the negative reviews first but after ourchasinbg this TV i must say i am pretty satified with it. It's been about a month now and i LOVE this TV. The refresh rate is just right for the size and doesn't make the movies look like a TV soap opera (everything looks insanely clear. Broadcast Quality). This is the perfect TV for game play as well. Colors look vivid and great and there is no Lag between the console and TV. The double sided remote is great and the keyboard behind it also lights up when its dark so it makes it easy to type things out in dim lighting.

Awesome TV all around!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been considering purchasing a new TV for some time and I really wanted one with all the newest features (Smart TV, 4K Ultra, etc) without spending a whole lot. When I came across this TV I couldn't help but be attracted to its features and the price. So I went for it and purchased the Vizio M Series 43' Class and for the 4 months now since purchase date that I've been able to really get familiar with it, I can honestly say I am so happy we purchased this TV. It's so easy to use and navigate through streaming, Netflix/Hulu (+) and regular TV watching. The picture of this TV is gorgeous!! We've watched all of our blu-ray movies again just because it is such a new, beautiful experience! Even watching HBO and Starz is so much more nice because of how great of a TV this is. I'm truly pleased with Vizio and this product.

Picture Quality leaves much to be desired.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the VIZIO M Series 43" 4K TV. I felt the picture quality for a premium 4K TV leaves much to be desired in 2 areas. 1. Narrow viewing angle. This TV has a narrow viewing angle. I noticed this limitation that the image color and brightness looked different when I was looking straight in front of the TV comparing to when I looked at the TV from a 45” angle. Comparing to other lower cost 43” TV, the image color and brightness remained the same when looking from an angle. 2. There seemed to be a slight film of fog over the TV. This is kind of annoying. Vizio M 43” has a many segments of 2D LED dimming control; however, the effects of a film of fog appears to be 2D LED local dimming not setting properly. I tried different picture settings to get rid of the fog, but it does not go away. Comparing to Sony and Samsung 4K TV, I think VIZIO M 43” TV leaves much to be desired in terms of picture quality.

Very Pleased!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of online research before I chose which Smart Tv I wanted to purchase and so glad I did!! I wanted a good quality tv for a good price and I got it! The pixels are incredible and the setup was very easy. I never even had to read the instruction booklet, it was all guided and the menu/settings are easy to navigate and customize. It connected to my wifi easily and the connection is great! Excellent Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decided to look for a new option when my old Samsung failed due to a well known issue which Samsung failed to remedy. Online reviews were favorable and the picture quality was excellent, especially at that price point. Having access to so many apps directly from the TV remote in a relatively intuitive manner is great, and the qwerty keyboard on the back is very nice. I wish that it had built-in Chromecast support, but that was easy to add via one of the HDMI inputs on the back.

Best Value for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading a lot of reviews and self-debating, I decided on the Vizio M series. Experience so far has been nothing but excellent. Was a breeze to set up. Definitely recommend this TV.

For the price, this set is a steal!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this set last mid July, put it in my dark studio/man cave. Did a few calibration settings for what I like to watch (mainly sports & Madden 16) & I'm in heaven. Don't let the Best Buy display fool you, the store is bright and busy with people traffic, so you won't get the full effect experience this set offers. Because of the price, I was able 2 buy a clean power/surge protector, a must, if want 2 protect your investment, & have a great looking picture 2 boot.

Vizio flat screen tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've purchased three Vizio tv's thus far and I have had no complaints at all except the fact that I've lost two of those Vizio's after about three years service. Is this a normal span for a flat screen tv? Has anyone else had this issue? Like I stated earlier I've not had any issues the picture is clear and they are easy to use. I'm thinking about making an LG for my next purchase.

Great for the price to experience 4K TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to watch NBA, ESPN, Nat Geo,..... etc on my sofa. I thought that watching my Samsung 55" 1080p was the best thing since moving on up from 480i and 480p. I bought this Vizio M43 4KTV for my bedroom, and now everything has changed again. I don't watch my Samsung 55" 1080p TV anymore. I unplugged that sucker Samsung 1080P TV. I simply just cant go back to 1080P TV anymore. I have a 4K TV addiction now. The only problem I don't like about this M43 4KTV is that you have to play around with adjustments a lot to get a nice picture. I changed the picture setup from standard to vivid to be somewhat happy on all input modes. I can live with that vivid picture as Comcast HD and Free to air HD TV looks great when pumped up on steroids on this 4K TV. Even 480i video looks great with the vivid color settings. I love the photographic picture look of this 4K TV. A word of caution to the wise. I almost took the TV back to Best Buy because of wireless problems. You might connect to your wireless network, and the signal strength has four bars on the Vizio TV. However, when you test the connection it might say no download. I fought with that problem for a couple of days thinking something was wrong with the TV as my laptop was working fine on the same wireless network.. Nothing was wrong with the TV, but it was the wireless signal was not strong enough for the TV to download You Tube videos etc. I moved the TV about four inches forward and there was a steady 1.5XX MB per second download when I retested the wireless connection. The Comcast Doscis3 modem is on first floor near the back window and the TV was on second floor between two walls near the front window. The download speed has stayed consistent now from the modem. I have no problems with amazon netflicks etc. If moving the router and TV a little doesn't work for you,you can try adding another wireless router to increase the range of your wireless network. I am thinking about getting a larger Vizio to replace the Samsung 55" 1080p TV in my living room now. The bachelor life, what can I say, you have to enjoy it before your wings get clipped.

Content with this TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have been happy with our purchase of this TV. We also purchased the 65" Vizio, and they have both worked well. The picture is nice and clear and the actual TV is very sleek. Our only complaint is the inability to get on the internet with Vizio. Otherwise, it's a great purchase!

Elite TV at a Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv to upgrade from an old 2006 32 inch and holy cow was this a game changer. Crystal clear picture, 4k awesomeness, plenty of ports and a great price put this on my radar early on during my 2 month search for the best I could get at a college student affordable price. This tv is clear from all over our living room at any angle, movies pop like no other with the 4k resolution, and very importantly video games play seamlessly without any noticeable input lag. The M-Series is one of the most well reviewed tvs of 2015 and for absolutely good reasoning. I got this for a steal during black friday and highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade to a smart 4k tv.

AWESOME!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is Awesome! We needed a new tv and already had 2 HDTV's but decided since we need to get a new one get a 4K, so glad we did, and we got this in the open box so it was a little less expensive and it came like it was brand new. I see alot of people talking about the volume, I honestly see no problem with it. Set up was a breeze, I could not be more happier with this purchase, the picture is great, so life like, its like you are there! This is a great tv for the money.

GARBAGE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this tv 18 months (year and a half) ago. The wifi never worked on it. It always said it was connected but could never use any of the smart features because it told me it wasn't connected to the internet. Just this week, it started to freeze after being on for about 10 seconds. I can't open menus, or even turn the tv off. Whatever is playing on the screen works fine and will play indefinitely, but to turn the tv off i have to unplug it. Of course this happened right after the 1 year warranty expired. I would get another tv now, but since this one still works for my purposes (all I do is use it for playing Xbox), I will keep it until the whole thing dies. Might happen next week, might work for 8 more years. I have no idea. Either way, I will never buy another Vizio tv because of this.

Vizio 4k Tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the tv on Thanksgiving of 2015, I have to return it by the end of December 2015 Tv started playing with half of the screen working and the bottom half was showing blurry. The Tv aslo started clicking off on it's own, I never used the sleep or screen saver feature. For the weight and look of the Tv, it is good but, for overall performance it sucks

Meh
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm clearly I'm in the minority because I don't like this TV. I bought it partly because of all the great reviews and it did look good in the Best Buy showroom. But at home it was overly yellow and green. I found lots of calibration guides on the web, but none make it look better. I wound up paying a professional to calibrate it. It looked a lot better, but still just didn't seem right. I had a 5 year-old Samsung previously and my wife swore it was better. I finally decided to go back to Samsung. It is a lot better. Probably the colors are somewhat oversaturated but honestly it looks like a real TV, not gauzy and muted.

Close but no cigar..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up after an unsuccessful fling with a physically similar Sharp LC43UB30U. My goal here was to find a 4K UHD computer monitor for ~$500 which functions reasonably in this service. The Vizio (who?) fairs better than the SHARP I'd evaluated but still has its limitations. The good news is the latency of the Vizio can be configured to a minimum such that it is nearly a non-issue and only slight lag is perceptible. And even this could be chalked up to the 30Hz frame rate (33.3ms) with which it is currently being driven. The sectional (vs. edge-fed) LED backlight is a bit more even than the Sharp, but it isn't perfect. Part of the problem is a 40~43" class UHD TV isn't designed primarily to be viewed at a computer monitor use-case distance of about 30", and the screen extremes at this distance will be viewed considerably off perpendicular at about 34* relative to the screen center at 0*. So screen illumination uniformity will suffer and you'll find yourself wanting to move your body around when viewing the screen extremes to offset this limitation. Another oddity is I'd noticed is a collapsed 2 pixel desktop menu bar at the bottom of the screen disappears completely unless viewed near dead perpendicular (0*). This missing 2~3 edge pixel row/column phenomena also exists for right and left edges of the screen but not the top row. Not a deal breaker I suppose but indeed another unwelcome wart. The last shortcoming where Vizio appears to join other manufacturers in completely missing the mark is if you're going to implement a "PC" mode for a TV, make it work right. When a PC's screensaver activates and blanks the screen (via cutting signal drive) the TV in PC mode should turn off its backlight just as every other PC monitor does. However this TV keeps the backlight enabled and renders a "No Signal" message until the cows come home. You can enable a power off mode where the TV will shutdown completely after 10 minutes. But then when the screensaver exits you need to find the remote and power the TV back on manually which defeats the purpose of an automatic screensaver. Cutting and reenabling the backlight is really a non-negotiable for computer monitor use given a screen of this size as it drastically prolongs the life of the LED illumination and (at least should in a competent design) reduces the power consumption when in standby mode. I don't know why this appears to be a difficult concept to grasp for manufacturers implementing a "PC" mode. I suppose it would be possible for the PC to send CEC commands via HDMI to explicitly force the TV to enter/exit standby mode, but this isn't something the average user will want or should have to do. Contrary to what I'd believed when evaluating the earlier Sharp, for those intending to use a 4K UHD TV as a computer monitor, 40~43" is probably the upper limit for screen size assuming on-desk use. If you are intending to view at greater distances the increased resolution may be moot as you'll need to scale fonts, icons, etc.. larger to be comfortably viewable at this distance. And a 40~43 is about a large as you'll want to go given the prospect of the monitor sitting on or behind (recommended) a typical work desk. To be sure a 3840x2160 computer screen is a glorious thing. I always feel like I'm working through a pinhole using CAD applications particularly on diminutive laptop screens. A workspace rendered at this resolution gives enough elbow room for the CAD window along with reference documentation windows such that you're not constantly shuffling through overlapping windows while working. So if screen real estate is your primary need you may be able to overlook the other limitations. Hopefully manufacturers will get the message and better support PC usage or dedicated PC monitors of this size will come down in price. The winner of that race gets my money.
