The display is probably one of the most vibrant and gorgeous I have ever seen, in comparison to a curved Samsung TV is may lack some of the depth but it will not be noticeable unless the two are next to each other. Also, when it comes to gaming there is NO better display, the refresh rate is amazing and it really brings out the true experience of being immersed into what you're doing. Rather you are viewing 1080p, upscalled or true 4k ultra hd this will not disappoint!

good picture. Chromecast is handy but as other have stated the lack of full remote can be a pain. The one it comes with has only the most basic features. If it included menu setup buttons it would be fine. But you to have open the app to tweak things like the picture settings. All in all a good tv but I wouldn't recommend it if you aren't used to using your phone/tablet for media.

great TV picture and sound, but limited remote, relying on you having a smart phone to access all the settings. I fortunately had the much better remote that came with the same model from 2 years ago and it works just fine with adjusting picture settings and size. NOT recommended for those without a smart phone!

Great picture and perfect size for our bedroom. However it took me and my wife several hours to get the sound to work. I wish it had a normal remote where you dont have to use a phone or tablet. For young millenials its probably easy to figure out but for those of us that didnt grow up with the internet it was difficult. Thats the only reason for only 4 stars.

This is basically a monitor with 4 HDMI inputs but it has good picture quality and Chromecast built-in. The sound is a little lacking. Basic setup can be done from the remote but to get to any of the features, you have to use a smartphone. Sad to hear about them spying on what their customers watch and selling that info to other companies.

The screen was crisp with rich colors. 4K did its job on this one. The screen was big but that was it, I return it because it had issues with the remote. The remote from your phone to tv didn't work. So pairing your phone with the app was no good. Hopefully they worked to repair the issue. I returned it for a Samsun 40" instead

Picture and size are great, but there is no tv tuner built in. Why? I use it as a computer monitor only. Great for a monitor but not a TV. Can only be hooked up to cable TV to get channels. Remote is basic and the app doesn't work well. Not happy with Vizio products anymore.

Beautiful Picture, easy to set up, has all the features, Smart TV, 4K, Awesome . Has great sound compared to some of the reviews that say otherwise. Very Happy

I was in the market for a 4k tv on a budget open box saved even more. Quick set up not hdr but i love this tv.

I wanted a 4k tv that wasn't to expensive and was decent for gaming. I was actually pretty impressed by the picture quality and refresh rate from a cheaper 4k tv. But I just couldn't get over the fact that you had to use an app to change any of the settings or basically do anything except turn the tv on.

The tv is very versatile and convenient. The picture quality is remarkable as well as the mini specs, it has just the right amount of volume so adding a surround system is optional. The tv is easy to handle and light especially if it's being wall mounted, if not watch out for the legs they come off very easily.

Idk how I feel about this tv yet. Bought it because I have two other Vizios in my house, needed a nice size for my bedroom(actually replacing my Vizio 43in smart tv) I wanted a 4K in the house n loved the Brandon said I mean as well. Price was good since it was on sale for a decent price so I said why not. Took it home and noticed the remote was really basic, and then turned it on and went thru the tutorial n said HUH??? You can only access apps via ur phone n stream then to your tv what the heck?? I don't like that at all, I enjoyed the fact that I could access my smart apps via the remote, the remote for this tv is your phone, don't appreciate. Played the Xbox One S on it, picture was excellent. Watched PS VUE on here, picture was great too. So I'm indifferent I may or may not return it for the reason of it not being truly smart.

I was looking at some higher priced "Big Name" brands but looking at the pictures side by side in the store, I saw very little if any difference in quality, color, or sharpness, and it is a smart set. Saved more that a hundred in the deal too. If it lasts more that 10 years I'd give it 5 stars.

Picked up this TV to upgrade to 4K resolution to go with my PS4 Pro. TV was easy to set up with my Wifi for Chromecast. There are lots of HDMI inputs, so I could plug in all my consoles. There are no AV inputs on this TV, but this is easily remedied with a converter, and the picture still looks amazing. I don't use this to watch television shows, but the picture for all my games (4K resolution support or not) is crystal clear and looks amazing. There's no noticeable lag in regards to the refresh rate.

Very impressed so far, was a dedicated Samsung product purchaser for over 15 years. So why the change? Price,quality of picture, number of hdmi and usb connections and size. My recommendation to the company would be better audio performance when not connected to a theater audio system.

the tv is excellent. colors and even the sound is good for a flat screen. my only gripe is the remote, it came with this little remote with limited functions, they expect you to pair up your smartphone and use an app for all major functions? i don't like that, otherwise it's a great TV.

If you want a mid-sized TV with 4K picture and decent speakers for under $500 then this is the purchase to make. I was looking for a 39-50 inch 4K TV for a 15x15 sized room and decided between this 43 inch Vizio and a curved Samsung. Ultimately, I chose this TV because of its vivid color as well as decent sound w/o the need of a soundbar. I've found the 4k viewing to be nothing short of amazing, and having this available in a mid-sized tv makes it a versatile option for small rooms as well as a large computer display for gamers as some other reviewers have mentioned. I personally mounted it on the wall and have enjoyed watching HD sports, action films, and even the drab nightly news, which looks so much better on this TV! It does not have a tuner in the TV so you will need either a satellite or cable provider or a streaming service as long as you have an internet connection. I found the setup to be a bit tedious with the nontraditional remote that is included--definitely have your smart phone readily available at first. Since the initial setup, I have easily used the odd looking remote to switch between inputs to watch tv, movies, or more while having picture, channel, and volume control at my fingertips. If you want to do more, then just use the app. I honestly don't see why there is such an uproar over the remote. The smart cast feature is interesting, but since I live in a rural area I mostly use the TV for watching channels from my satellite provider or for my large bluray collection. For the week that I played around with smartcast I found it more versatile and less clunky than the traditional app-included smartTVs I have in my condo in the city. All around, purchase this TV for the display quality it offers and you will find it has decent sound (for a small room) along with a more versatile streaming experience if you are patient through the hour-long setup (at least it took me that long with my internet provider). If you need a built in tuner or must have a traditional remote, then hard pass.

Easy to setup, great picture and wonderful price. Love the face that it has Comcast and I can easily watch Netflix, Hulu etc.

This TV shows a good picture. The only problem I have had with it has been the sound not coming through with the picture from the AT&T Uverse box with an HDMI Cable hook up. It took me and the AT&T Uverse tech 3 hrs to play around with it and the only thing that seemed to solve the problem was to download the VIZIO Cast App on my smart phone. After that the TV started doing some kind of update after which the sound came through. NO WHERE in the instructions for set up in the owners manual did it SAY MUST DOWNLOAD VIZIO APP to get sound to work through the TV with any cable box or certain cable boxes. Sound through the Blue Ray Player connected to it was as simple as plugging in the HDMI Cable, turning it on and hitting play on movie.
