I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just wanted another TV. However, I paid the price! The TV picture itself is good and setting it up was easy. The smartcast I did not care for because that difficult to navigate and understand, plus it did not work well in terms of streaming. My problem was the durability. It broke so easily! So if you have kids, this TV is not for you.

Delightful TV to watch

No real Remote Control?

Ok yes it is a 4K monitor NOT TV as it does not have a TV tuner built in. You will need to use a cable box or some other way to get TV signal to this monitor. Now for the remote control. It does NOT have 90% of the features it should have as with any other remote control. The remote can pretty much only turn on this monitor and do volume control. It is funny as it does also have Channel change controls but no TV tuner built in! So to get all the functions of the setup you will need to use your smart phone or tablet with the app SmartCast. Which also means that you need to have wifi network setup to get the phone or tablet to talk with this monitor. I will never buy another tv that needs a APP to control it!!!!!
