NOT A TV!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst purchase I've made. Need your cellphone for basic stuff. Volume acts up. Picture is def not as good as they promote it to be. It's basically a monitor. You can't get basic channels for those that don't wanna use cable anymore, you'd need to buy a tuner separately. Called tech support because my Samsung sound bar wasn't connecting and their response was "not sure why it's not working, you should call Samsung". What a joke. Returning this "home theater display" immediately! (They're not allowed to sell is as a "TV" because it isn't one!

This means that any VIZIO SmartCast™ device can be controlled using most smartphones and tablets. Some VIZIO home theater displays no longer include connection for a coaxial cord. Beware!!!!

Set it all up they way it should and instantly starts glitching out. 3 inch vertical line that extends from top to bottom at random intervals. I know it's probably just a defect but I just spent $520 dollars. Shouldn't happen. I don't have a 4K console but even the 1080 likes kinda fuzzy and just not very clear. Weill definitely return today and buy something else. Still like Vizio

Vizio products appear to be disposable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After reading other reviews, it appears I lucked out getting 16 months of use out of my VIZIO MSeries 4334 Class 4334 Diag LED 2160p Smart 4K Ultra HD TV Black. The speakers work great, and they've replaced the visual display with a calming rainbow pattern to ease my stress load. That I only got four months beyond the one-year warranty period cannot be a coincidence. OBVIOUSLY this was my first, and last Vizio product.

Not worth it....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we bought this because of reviews, and anybody who gave this monitor a good review never had a hdtv before. it has a lot of blur, colors are washed out even on high color settings, sound is not that good. the casting function only works when it wants to. i have a sharp aquos 1080p hdtv and it is 1000 times better. it gets a one star because there isnt a lower rating..............

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you saw in the store. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. In addition if you are having problems casting feed free to contact our customer support team for assistance.

Horrid Picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe it was defective, but I could not get a quality picture that I could live with after adjusting it for over a day. Red was just crushed, and I could not get decent flesh tones. Returned it for The Hisense 50, and it was not even close. For 60$ more its picture was night and day better. Too bad, I liked the smartcast feature, but its image was the worst I've ever come across.

Incorrect product description

Only 1 star because I just wasted half my day purchasing it to find out that it doesn't include the 6" tablet remote that it says is included in the product description. Called the store and waited 15 minutes with no answer. Now I get to waste another few hrs and gas taking this one back.

A glorified monitor

Posted .VIZIO SmartCast Display's do not have a built-in tuner or coaxial port. To use an OTA antenna or cable without a cable box an external tuner would be necessary. These external tuners are available through various retailers and can connect to the display through HDMI or Component connections.

Good if you like smart

Awful Smartcast

Don't buy it
