    Defective/likely bad video card or motherboard

    Purchased for Christmas. Set it up and initially all worked well, but after it had been on about 2 minutes all dark pixels turned bright green. This is not a settings issue the unit is defective. Tried to adjust settings, powered down, unplugged and held on/off button to drain power, the whole nine yards. Green pixels issue happens within a few seconds to a few minutes after power on, each and every time. Does not matter if in display mode, cable, or hooked up to gaming system. TV is essentially broken and needs to be replaced. Problem is I live quite a distance from the nearest store and is a huge hassle to return. Very disappointed, wanted/needed this to work out of the box.

    So disappointed...

    I bought this television last Friday 20.January and the picture went out on Saturday. I tried to troubleshoot the issue but to no avail. A couple of hours later the picture came back but had a random line through the screen that split the screen in half before the picture became fuzzy, distorted, faded, and ultimately went out again. The last few days have repeated this issue so I will be taking it back as soon as I can. I am extremely disappointed.

    The tv worked for about a week then it would not power on anymore
