It was an open box tv and it does not work. No sound it keeps turning off by itself. Will never buy an open box item again

Bought this TV for a senior so wanted a TV that had a relatively simple remote, decent picture and sound. This Vizio seemed to be well regarded in the past reviews but most importantly had the integrated Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons. Interestingly enough, the picture on the HD channels and Netflix is outstanding but for some reason the regular non-HD stations do not have a clearer picture than the old non-HDTV set. Wall installation was easy and there is ample room for the HDMI cables in the back of the set.

Bought this TV for Home Office with little expectations. This unit is lightweight and has a very good picture at this price point. Because it is easy to maneuver, we move it to the patio and even tailgate with it. The Smart apps work well and setup was a snap. Great value.

So at the time of this post, I purchased this exact TV four days prior. I wanted to get a new TV primarily for gaming purposes and I did not want to spend any more than around 600 so when I walked into Best Buy and saw this TV, the size and all the other "goodies" it promised for the price, I decided to go with this. We have the exact same TV but in the 60" version in our living room and it has worked flawlessly for about the past year or so, so I was expecting the same result from this. I get it home, set it up and I am happy once I configure all the picture settings and what not. The 120Hz as detailed really doesn't seem like it is 120, however I am pleased with everything else. So lets get to the real reason for this review. Yesterday (09/27, I bought this TV on 09/25 brand new) I get home from work in the morning and want to watch some TV before bed. I was having a pretty difficult time getting the TV to turn on. After messing with it for about ten minutes, it kicks on. I turn it off, go to sleep, wake up seven hours later, go to turn it on and nothing. Now I'm like WTF mate? So I mess with it and it turns on. I turn it off to go out and do something, come back and it won't turn on. I tried everything to get this thing to turn on. I cycled the power, inspected the power cable, plugged it into a new power source and the TV just isn't getting power at all anymore for god knows why. I can't even begin to explain how frustrated this made me. Literally a brand new TV and after watching maybe a total of three hours of TV and playing about an hours worth of games on it, it stops working.

I have owned this tv since 2016 and is still working great. Good quality too for the price.

I'm able to connect my devices to my smart TV. Even charge my devices and connect a key board for searching a movie. But a couple of days ago I noticed my screen has lines that shouldn't be there. But other than that I love my smart TV.

This is a great smart tv. Quality picture, has apps and is very light weight. You can't beat the price

This was a replacement for a defective Samsung. This one has been wonderful. The picture is great and I have had no issues with it (unlike the two previous Samsung units I've owned).

We looked at many television sets before buying this one. While 4K is the new trend, this tv was as close as possible for the price range. Being a "smart tv" is an awesome feature as well. Being able to stream Netflix with the push of the button is great., great product. Only concern is the speakers. Didn't like that there was built in surround . Didn't notice that feature. Bought a sound bar and that makes all the difference.

If you are considering a new TV or electronics, stay away from VIZIO. Last night, our smart screen had a pixel blow in the middle and crack the screen from the inside. There is nothing on the outside of the tv. Bought the TV back in November. After several calls back and forth with customer service today, I was told at 6:00 pm they were sending us a new TV. Got a call back at 8:30 pm saying that it wasn't covered so we were out of luck. They won't back down even though they had already said they were sending a replacement. We have had several issues with this TV before this but this beats it all. The remote stops working all the time. You have to take the batteries out to get it to work again. This summer, the TV started freezing up. We would have to unplug it and let it reset. For a week, we had to do it several times in a day. The screen breaks on its own during the warranty time and we are out of luck even though they initially said they were replacing it. Terrible product and service. Will never buy another Vizio again

Very reasonable price for such a big TV, also very reliable

I would give this 0 stars if possible. I bought the TV and it worked great for 2 weeks before breaking. The TV will only power on using the remote (the power button on the back doesn't work) but no other keys will work. I can't change the input using the remote or the button on the back nor can I use any of the functions of the TV- it's essentially stuck on the current input. Bear in mind this is after just 2 weeks of use. I called Vizio support for a new TV and they agreed to ship a new TV out. However, 20 days after the initial request, I have yet to receive the TV. Vizio says they outsource the delivery and are no longer taking responsibility for the delivery. I tracked the package using their number and it has been in my city for the past 10 days, but I've gotten no call for a delivery. I've been calling Vizio all week and they keep saying "call back in 24-48 hours for an update" every time I call. Bottom Line- TV crapped out in 2 weeks and Vizio hasn't delivered a replacement.

Has great streaming capabilities and picture quality is great. Very happy with purchase.

Overall good TV. Only complaint I have is that one of the HDMI ports does not work on our TV. Unfortunately we didn't notice until we had for a few months, it just isn't worth it to try and exchange. Overall good price for screen size and picture

Our plasma tv stopped working suddenly, so we needed a replacement. Knowing we needed an LED model, but wanting a moderately priced tv at this time, we read reviews and chose this one. It has a great picture and was easy to set up.

This tv was an open box special so I got it at a great price! The picture quality is awesome and the smart tv works great! I could not be happier!!!

This tv is the best quality for the price from what I've seen. If you're looking for great picture quality from a name brand you can trust then look no further than this very affordable Vizio. I've ha this tv for about 9 months now and so far no problems at all. So bottom line is, I highly recommend this tv, great quality, right price, and trusted brand should make this purchase a no brainier.
