After 5 years the tv gave out. We have other, older TVs that work. 5 years is disappointing. This was a first Gen 4K TV. The apps were very limited. All in all, it worked well until today.

I had three of these within one week. The screens all went bad. One lasted a whole 4 hours before the back light went out. Took it back, and purchase another brand. Spend the extra money and get a real UHDTV. Not one of these.

We bought this for a great price but after hooking it up and using we realized the sound quality did not match the picture quality. Luckily we have a warranty so hopefully they can fix it.

For some reason the picture looked better in Best Buy. I took the item mostly because it was an open box item but after comparing to an older Samsung tv I would rather go with Samsung.

It worked for the first couple days. Then it started having issues like rebooting every 20 minutes, then 4K issues and issues. It's not on Direct TV supported 4K TV list.

Simply put you won’t find a better 4K TV for your money. The equivalent Sony and Samsung TVs are between 30%-75% more. The 2015 Vizio M-series TVs have the lowest input lag for gaming and their new motion interpolation gives you far greater control of motion blurring. However, there are two issues currently with the firmware. The first issue is that the motion interpolation settings are forgotten when the TV is turned off or the resolution changes. That means you have to enable the Game Low Latency setting in order to prevent the TV from turning the motion interpolation up too high. That definitely is a problem if you like the motion interpolation settings. However, if you don’t intend to use it then it won’t matter at all. I turned off motion interpolation for now on my set and I am fine with that. They should be able to issue a firmware update to fix it relatively soon though. The other issue is that 1080p @ 120 FPS doesn’t work at all on the 55” and smaller TVs. It will work on 60” and larger TVs though. If you use a computer for gaming this might be a problem for you. It doesn’t affect PS4 or Xbox 1 gaming at all because those consoles are only 60 FPS anyway. Overall this TV offers 4K resolution, low latency for gaming, affordable price, and excellent detail once you tweak the settings from their factory defaults. Vizio has had inferior TVs in the past and that hurt their reputation. However, their current 2015 TVs are definitely up to par with every other TV on the market today for almost half the price.

Returned tv after three days. It had a burning smell coming from HDMI port. Best Buy was super during the return process. Bought a Samsung to replace it.
