Poor sound quality. Image washes out when not viewing directly.

Fell short of my expectations. Did not compre or to my 720p samsungs.

tv is a bargin ,great right out of the box great color and great picture 4k streaming is very good also tv was half the price of of the Samsung un55js9000 ,but in all fairness the Samsung has 3d and is supposed to have a wider color spectrum but to an amature like me the picture is just as good and the color is fantastic oh and don't forget "THE PRICE"

Our Vizio 55" 4K Ultra HD TV just died this week. We paid nearly $1000 for this TV and it only lasted 5 years! My advice is that you stay away from Vizio. It was fine while it lasted, but a 5-year life is not long enough for that kind of a purchase in my opinion. There was no electrical storm, no abuse or misuse...nothing. It just suddenly had half the screen turn to a scrambled mess. We did what everyone does when something like that happens...turn it off and back on. However, we could never get it to turn back on. Don't buy a Vizio.

Purchased this TV 2 days ago, the 55inch. It looks great and its pretty skinny. I normally use it for Sling TV on my Xbox one and regular tv. On Sunday i was watching some football games and i notice it was not as sharp as i would hope it to be, i later played GTAV on my XBox and i notice the screen freezing, light freeze, you can't tell right away but after looking at it close you can tell after a while it got me annoyed. I think i can fix this by messing with the adjustments. I ph'd Geek Squad (i bought 5 yr warranty) she said they can have someone out and check it out for me. I hope this will fix it or i will have to return because they only gave me 15 days to return not 30 days like before. I will keep you guys updated. Oh and the speakers are not loud but that's not a problem for me and the tv has built in apps it does not have a web browser but that wasnt a big deal since i hook up my comp to my tv.

Well my old Samsung LN52A860 finally went out after 7 yrs. Loved that tv... So I went and bought the Vizio E55-C1 thinking I could save a little. Kept it over night picture quality was just not good enough so I returned it the next day. The tv just couldn't compare with the Samsung I previously had. I didn't want to spend near as much as I spent on the Samsung to have it only last 7 yrs. Then I decided I would go ahead and give Vizio another try with this VIZIO M-Series M55-C2 and let me tell you... best thing I ever did. This tv is unbelievable. And the price is great for a 4k. One thing I will say is this tv needs to be calibrated. Look up online for this model VIZIO M-Series M55-C2 and use the calibrations as a guide along with your own personal taste and this tv will look amazing. I recommend anyone in the market for a new tv to give there 4k's a shot. A must have for PS 4 gamers... be prepared to be blown away is all I have to say...

Unfortunately the screen has developed 2 horizontal lines across it that appear to be getting worse. The first one appeared about 1/3 of the way from the bottom, the 2nd about 1/3 of the way from the top. I saw similar problems reported though most were vertical lines and were attributed to pixel failure--I assume this is the same. It also seems to have developed an out of focus area (blurry) horizontally about an inch wide across the top of the screen. For the money I'd certainly have expected a little more life after the reviews i used to buy from.

Great value for the price. Picture is fantastic and can be modified by anyone for individual taste. This thing has 5 HDMI inputs AND has the Analog Audio outputs for older sound bars (A BIG PLUS FOR ME!) Many features. Sure beats a 2006 model JVC! Lightweight for the wall mounting. Only problem I have found so far is that the channel skip feature only wants to hold 10 blocked channels. I have 14 Mexican Channels I wish to block being in Central Texas, (No Habla Espanol here) and by golly it will put back 4. Maybe a update to the TV on-line will cure this in the future?

The color is spectacular. Audio is unimpressive but you can buy outboard equipment to fix that. The tuner is good at capturing weak signals. The upscaling really makes a difference. Only minimal lag when changing channels. the Qwerty on the back of the remote is very handy. The apps are better than they first appear to be. Nice input and output flexibility, the analog outs kept me from having to buy a new receiver. Make sure your stand is 44 inches wide. I have had a dozen or so hd tv's including two I returned this week, and this is by far the best.

I've bought a half dozen tv's in my life and never had one die so soon. My 16 Y.O Magnavox is still working! My 7 Y.O. Toshiba is still working.

I have had this TV for about a month and love it. It took some tweaking to get the settings right. I turned off the clear action settings as I do not like the soap opera effect. The upscaling is phenominal, it upscales 1080p content amazingly, 480p (DVD) is not as good but still upscales it very well. Love the qwerty remote and that amazon, i heart radio and netflix have dedicated buttons on the remote. Like the fact that netflix does not sign you out so when you go back it is pretty much immediate.The only issue I have is a crackle from my AV system when I switch inputs or unpause live TV on my tivo. But this is very minor.

Volume goes in and out and I haven't had it longer then 2 months...

I am sure the Vizio "P" series is better however I returned this set for Samsung 7100 , 50 inch

Bought this to replace my 55LN7600 LG HDTV because I had been unimpressed with LG's software updates and the overall performance of the TV, especially with respects to playing Xbox and input lag. It is a night-and-day difference between it and the Vizio M-Series. It really is the best HDTV out there for gaming. No 3D, but who cares ... I've watched 3D content maybe 3 or 4 times on my LG in the past few years. I do miss LG's built-in support for PLEX, but it wasn't a deal-breaker by any means.

1 and half month since I bought my vizio 55 inch tv. I am loving it Super clear picture. querty remote is convenient. right price compared to Samsung / LG.

Out of the box the picture needed some tweaking.That said,once i made some minor adjustments,i have a fantastic picture.It's better than my Panasonic plasma.My only complaint is the picture fades rapidly off axis,but all LED sets do this. Fantastic set ! Last thing i want to say is, the people at Best Buy are the best in the business.

Purchased in store. The TV is an overall good buy. Pro: Nice appearance, great picture, and a very nice remote with a keyboard on the back(love that). Con: The only major draw back with this TV is the audio. The sound has no depth and is tinny. I ended up buying a Sound Bar system to deal with the poor sound quality coming from the TV speakers.
