Great TV for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great 4K TV for the price. The picture is great after finding the right ways to tweak the settings (Calibrated Color Mode, Reduce Judder Set to Off, etc.). The only complaint is the sound from the TV is sub-par, at best. I would recommend using a soundbar or audio system for the sound.

So far So Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I took a leap of faith with this set.. I have always bought Sony in the past and it was between this TV and a Sony.. Only time will tell, but as of now, this set has no flaws.. I don't get any blur as a previous poster noted.. Maybe its a function of how the TV is set up?? Bottom line, the picture is extraordinary and the price is ridiculously cheap.. I just hope it stays that way..

Best picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this tv. Even older movies and shows look awesome. The set up is very easy. I'm no tech wiz and was up in running in 20 min. The multiple access ports are great for hooking up multiple gaming systems, dvd players, ect. I love sending what I'm watching on my tablet or cell to the tv. It's easy there is just a picture of a tv on your phone or tablet and bam it's there. Having Netflix built in is also a major plus.

Fantastic Television
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Always been a big supporter of Vizio televisions with 4 total in my house. Replace a 48" E series with this TV and was blown away. Beautiful picture, excellent black levels and good sound for internal speakers. Previously owned an M series before and was drawn back due to my previous experience. TV is excellent, very happy overall.

Picture quality not all great on dish
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mainly watch movies/shows/football games/news etc on Dish. Was disappointed on picture quality. After calling dish they did confirm they were testing a new hopper/Joey that will be compatible with the 4K tvs. They didn't know release date. If you have direct tv, watch a lot of movies on blueray (picture did look great but don't watch very many myself) then this tv is the one for you. I ended up returning and purchased the 60" led vizio tv. I am happy with the e60-c3 since I did after all upgrade from a 47" lcd tv. Maybe next year I will be in the market for a 4K again if dish follows through with the new 4K box.

DO NOT BUY ANY VIZIO
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this Vizio 4 K Ultra TV less than 9 months ago. We were very pleased at first. Suddenly, a white strip about 6 inches in width popped up in the center of the screen. I called Vizio Customer service and went through everything they asked. They then wanted pictures of the tv sent to them so they could send us a tv under warranty. While taking the photos, the entire screen went out. I sent those pictures as well to show this. I received an email from them to call because they had received the pictures. The lady I spoke with then Informs me that something must have hit the tv to break the lcd panel on the inside. Now they refuse to honor their warranty and I had to go buy another tv. There is no way they could tell from looking at a picture that the lcd panel on the inside was broken. At 32 years old, I most certainly have never thrown anything at a tv. Just a way to get out of covering their warranty. READ complaints and reviews online before you buy. Don't depend on reviews from here. When I looked up their info to call them after this happened, there are THOUSANDS of complaints against Vizio for the same issue. I can't believe we paid for a TV that didn't even last a year. I've always bought Samsung products in the past, except this one, and I will never buy anything else...especially a Vizio.

Fantastic Quality For the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this TV during Black Friday. Tried a store pickup and it wouldn't fit in my car (back seats wouldn't fold down) that was the first time this TV broke my heart. The second time was when I realized that Youtube did not run in 4k on it. Youtube uses a different codec standard than what most of the industry uses and this Vizio tv can't not support Youtube at 4k, nor will it ever be as it's a hardware issue that can't just be solved with a firmware update. I bought a Amazon Fire Tv thinking that it would have youtube in 4k, and while it does have the app for it, it does not run in 4k. Which is a really really big let down. Since they demo 4k in bestbuy by running 4k videos off youtube. I hope that I'll finally be able to watch Youtube in 4k (without having to connect my computer to my TV) when Sony re-releases the PS4 with 4k video output capabilities. So, those are the negatives. The positives are well, everything else. For the price you pay, you are getting a great TV with really nice picture quality. The first time I loaded up a video on Netflix (after having upgraded my plan to include 4k) I was shocked at the leap in detail. If you're like me and hate the soap opera effect of really high refresh rates, fret not, for you can get rid of that easily. This is a great tv and I highly recommend it. Note that it doesn't support 4k HDR. Which wasn't really supported much when I got my TV. But now Netflix is supporting it and others are soon to follow.

great tv, plenty of HDMI inputs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has an excellent picture. It was at a great price point for a 4K resolution with 120Hz with good reviews, so I went for it. It also had 5 HDMI inputs compared to some sets with only 3. The built in apps for the TV cover the basics. I've used the Netflix, Amazon and Hulu apps and they are nice and responsive (faster than on my Tivo - pretty much Roku equivalent). There is no full on web browser as far as I can tell, but that was not an issue for me. It has both wired and wireless networking capabilities which is good if you like a wired connection for faster streaming, but the wifi connection has been strong so far (connecting to my 5Hz network). There is only one shared component/composite input, so if you have a lot of older devices, you may need to upgrade. I had a Wii and a component video DVD player connected, so I ended up getting a BluRay player and just connecting the Wii to the composite input. It does have a variable audio out which is nice if you have a receiver hooked up that doesn't have digital inputs. Thumbs up for Best Buy delivery also. I was replacing an ancient rear projection HDTV that I really could not get rid of on my own. The delivery guys showed up on time (after calling 20 minutes in advance), set up the new TV (unboxed, attached stand, placed on TV furniture and attached DVD and DVR HDMI connections) and hauled off the gigantic old TV.

Superb product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truly enjoy this Tv. It is the perfect size for my family of three. The application feature was very easy to use and has made watching our shows so much easier. Great visual screen and fluid motion. At first it was a bit overwhelming how nice the quality of the screen, soon our eyes began to enjoy the crispness and depth.

Fantastic, especially for the price!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought the 50" version, but returned it for the 55" very soon after that. I am very picky when it comes to televisions, and this one was well worth the cost. Started with "Calibrated" picture mode. Then set the following: Reduce Judder OFF, Reduce Motion Blur OFF, Active LED Zones OFF, Gaming Low Latency ON.

Great Picture Quality...BUT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the picture quality of the M55 is great {the audio quality is average} and compares very favorably to other 4k TV''s, price wise, the fact that Vizio teamed with Yahoo to determine for me what Smart App's I may want to use, is completely short sighted and renders the "Smart" feature of the television very limiting. If I would have known that I would not have been able to see the programming I wanted, I would not have purchased ANY smart TV from Vizio. So that I could watch major network internet programming such as ESPN, FS1, and many others, I had to purchase an internet streaming device. As such, I could have just purchased a "Dumb" TV and would have had the same utility. The added expense of this device leveled the playing field with the other manufacturers and removed the price advantage Vizio had over its competition. Once I realized the limiting nature of the "Smart" feature of Vizio TV's, I purchased a Samsung smart TV as a Christmas gift instead of a Vizio. I have previously purchased six Vizio TV's, however, until Vizio updates its "App's" where purchasers can view the programming they desire, I will not purchase another Vizio "Smart" product and neither should you...

Good TV, but having sound issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had the TV for 3 days now and are happy with the picture. However, every so often the sound will drop to a very quiet level for a few seconds before returning to the original setting. This has happened when viewing content from several sources (cable, DVD, streaming). This problem only occurred 2-3 times during a 2 hour movie, but is nevertheless very noticeable. If troubleshooting does not result in a resolution, I will take up with Vizio and BestBuy.

Not for classic t. v. shows.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When watching classic programs from the 90's and older, the actors looked superimposed on the screen. If you like to watch nature and sports programs, the picture quality can't be beat even with an over the air antenna. I would not recommend this tv if you like to watch classic tv shows

Weird lines dim colors when turning TV on?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I've had this TV since February it is amazing the sound is great the picture is great. It is in the living room and is usually on for about 2 hours in the evening everyday, more on the weekends .... lately (about twice a week) when we turn it on the color is very dim/almost faded looking with many weird lines going across the tv and one going up and down the middle ...... It is not the cable box because when I turn that off and on nothing happens no change in the look but when I turn the TV itself off/on the weird lines disappear the color is bright and back to normal and everything looks fine again ..... weird and I don't know if that's a defect or if maybe cords aren't in right ..... but either way past the return date :( idk.
