I had purchased a Samsung 50 inch 7000 series on thanksgiving day. Brought it home and had nothing but issues in trying to set it up. The big thing is it wouldn't do a software update. I spent hours on the phone with samsung technical service, which to their credit were very helpful. In the end they told me to return it to Best Buy. That was my second samsung, the first samsung died due to failure of the capacitors. When i looked up the symptoms of that TV i found out there had been a class action lawsuit due to the failure of capacitors. I had just missed the claim to have it fixed at no cost. Considering the issues with my second tv, when going back to Best buy i saw many returned samsungs, and the recent bad reviews on the screen quality of the samsung 7000 series (yellowing on edge issues), i decided to try another brand. The Vizio M series had excellent reviews by purchasers and review websites. I just had a 60 inch delivered and it works flawlessly. LOVE the qwerty keyboard on the back of the remote which makes set up and entry of passwords fast and easy. People have mentioned the remote is too basic but that is what i LOVE about it. The samsung remote was huge and had way too many buttons on it. There is little question on which button i have to push on the Vizio remote. It's not pretty but it's a remote - who cares! The pandora app on the samsung didn't work and what music it did spit out took 2 minutes to load per song and constantly said there was some sort of error. This vizio has Iheartradio and so far it works and i love it - great options for music. I'm very pleased with this tv and with the flexibility Best Buy offers. The delivery people were also pleasant and professional, setting up the tv and making sure it worked. The sound on this tv is not the greatest so i will invest in a vizio soundbar system. I have a samsung but it isn't truly wireless with this tv (it is with a samsung) which is what i want. The sound bar can sit underneath the tv due to the design of the stand legs on the left and right of the tv base. I had to have the soundbar right in front of the samsung, which took up some room and didn't blend as nicely as it does with the Vizeo. I think the clarity of the picture is slightly better with the samsung but to save my sanity i will sacrifice a bit of visual quality, especially considering i don't sit close at all to the tv. That's my review, if you want a good tv that is easy to set up out of the box then i recommend the Vizio.

I DO NOT LIKE THE 4K ULTRA. I WILL PROBABLY NOT BUY ANOTHER TV THAT HAS 4k. THIS IS OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH 4K TVS. IT MAKES THE MOVIES AND TV SHOWS LOOK LIKE LOW BUDGET FILMS. AS IF THEY WERE HOME MADE WITH A CAMERA. WOULD LOVE TO HAVE OLD TV BACK.

Purchased 60" Vizio and EXACTLY 5 days later turned the TV on - no pic but had sound, so I called Vizio customer support and they could not fix problem, had to return TV. Would NEVER purchase a Vizio TV again!

After reading reviews and looking at specs I went to the store and watched this tv and other competitors tv (Samsung, LG, Sony). This was my 2nd Vizio TV and I love the price as well as the quality of both tvs. This TV has a picture that is just incredible as good as the others if not better. I chose this TV for the refresh rate of 240 others only 120 this is important when choosing your TV even the 4k. The color is out of this world and the clarity of the picture is unbelievable. I am a directv customer and the picture is like you could just walk into the set. Anyone looking for new TV should really consider this one even if you are not looking for a 4k TV the price is unbeatable for the product you get.

Bought a Samsung 4k TV (UN55J6500) and took it back due to a disappointing picture with Dish Network and some other problems.. Did not work as well as my old inexpensive Toshiba 780P on the same network. Returned it and got this Vizio. 4K. Superior color and picture which blew my old TV and the new Samsung. Upscaling of the 1080 P Dish signal was far superior than the Samsung which is important since Dish does not yet offer a 4k signal. Also a far superior picture from a Blue Ray DVD that I watched on both new TV's. Hands down, for the price which is hundreds of dollars less than a comparable Samsung, and a superior picture out of the box, this Vizio TV is a better buy. .

Had tv since 2015 and took out the warranty and it was replaced by a 65 inch when it couldn’t be fixed

the picture quality is at best poor - I've since upgraded to a Sony XBR850c I would not buy this tv is you are concerned with Picture Quality

Screen died after only 1 month of use. Waiting for best by to fix the issue. Tv is low quality, aviod this tv even with extended 2 yr warrenty.

Haven't been very impressed with the color quality from the beginning. Some channels look great but others I have to adjust tone.

I bought a "geekcertified" open box TV. It lasted 10 hours. Went through h*ll with Vizio to get a replacement. Wouldn't do it again.

Wish it was not a mirror type screen, to much glare from room lights interferes with watching it. Otherwise a nice TV.
