Excellent!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying my loyalties run deep. I owned a Sony Trinatron 15 years ago and loved it. Therefore, I bought a Sony HD TV as my first major HDTV purchase. It was good, not great. Then my loyalties swayed to Samsung, and have been there for the past 5 years. I still have a high regard for Samsung TVs- I think they are the best. BUT! When it was time to buy a 4K, I did a ton of research. For the past 3 weeks, while living in a hotel room (it's work related...not drug related) I have researched 4K TVs. I also went to many a Best Buy and just watched, zombie-like, different TVs . I finally decided to go with the Vizio M60-C3. Primarily because the 60 inch (unlike the 55 inch and below) is 120hz native refresh. The blacks are deep black, the whites are bright, and the motion blur is nonexistent. The real test for me was watching Sunday Night Football (over the air, mind you) and the ticker across the bottom was smooth as glass. The biggest complaint with LCD TVs is the judder. This TV, from what I've seen so far, has none. It's probably not the best 4K TV, but for the money, I couldn't recommend anything else. Vizio is definately stepping their game back up.

Looks good but broke in less than a year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture quality. But the screen burnt out and the tv is already busted 8 months after purchasing it. I'm not even a heavy tv watcher as Im rarely home. Luckily I got the warranty but hopefully I can get a different brand of tv. Never going to get a Vizio again.

broke after 1 year.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Visio T.V. picture went out after 1 year??? This TV had a great picture when I first bought it last year. I could understand if the screen was 6 years old but it only last for 16 months.

Good Price, not a quality 4K image
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good price, but the sharpness of the image was not of the same quality as other brands. I have an older non-4k Vizio and its image and color is much better that on this model. Not crazy about the key pad on the back of the remote. I returned it for another mfg.

Go LG instead
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't last long, Tv died in 4 years and the black levels were horrible. Smart features were awful and the remote was just ugly. Colors weren't bad but too many faults

Excellent TV, one PQ flaw
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would rate this 4.5 if I could, but I'm giving it a 5 since I can't do halves. For the price, the M60-C3 is an unbeatable value in picture quality. It's upconversion of 1080p content is darn near perfect, streaming 4K over Netflix and Amazon gives it a notable improvement even over upconverted 1080p content. There is one issue with the picture quality, and it is only noticeable in certain scenes - something like a dimly lit cave, or some scenes of The Walking Dead you will get motion trails - that is, the residual of some objects as they move (a face as the scene pans, for example.# However, in most scenes and most movies and shows, it is not evident. It has to be in a dark, greyish scene for it to be noticeable. Beyond that, I cannot complain. For the price, under $1400 when I bought it for a high quality 4K TV 60", with such excellent upconverting capabilities and excellent dark-room viewing, I couldn't ask for something better. I'd realistic pay $500 more for a comparable quality Samsung 4K tv in the 55+ range with the important features such as 120+ MHz refresh #true refresh, not the software "enhanced" versions everyone markets#, 24fps playback for correct viewing of most movies, etc.

Decent TV - Couldn't get internet connectivity
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a Vizio fan, but this unit had connectivity issues from the onset... even when hardwired into the router. Took forever to load Netflix and wouldn't connect at all sometimes. Returned it for a smaller (55), but better quality Sony.

Bland picture, terrible sound quality.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased based on multiple reviews but I totally disagree. No matter how I adjust the picture it looks washed out. Thank God for the soundbar otherwise this TV is unwatchable

Just Beautiful!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched and agonized over this for weeks. I narrowed it down to this one and a Samsung that is $1000 more. No disappointment here! You can't go wrong with this value. Great picture and features. Watching baseball, you can see the spin on the ball! Don't spend more for what you can get with this TV.

Great Picture with a Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My family is very impress with the picture quality, I am impress by what all I get for a reasonable price. The sale price was $1299, then add the Best Buy Mastercard discount and my reward points. We paid about $300 less than the competition. Now for the Television, it's loaded with a lot of extras like WiFi and 720 Clear Action for no motion blur. Plus the picture quality was just as good if not better than Comparable Samsungs, LGs or Sonys 4K Televisions. My wife was hesitant about getting a new television since our old one was only 6 years old. She now very impressed with the picture quality, especially after watching her favorite movies (Beautiful Creatures and Twilight)

My first 4K, still ways away from truly enjoying?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PURCHASE I purchased this Vizio 60" 4K TV based on several website reviews which heralded this TV as a great TV all-round, not just for 4K. I purchased inside the store at my local Best Buy on 11/22/15. SETUP Fairly simple. I used the TV stand kit included with the TV. The stands initially seemed inadequate, but really they are solid once the TV is set up. Make sure you have a TV stand wide enough to fit the TV as the stands are pretty wide to match the TV's width. USE CASE: Getting the TV plugged in was a snap, I really like that this TV has 4 HDMI which support 30FPS 4k and one HDMI that supports 60FPS 4k. I am currently just using this TV as a monitor for my XBOX One and for the smart aspect, so I'm using HDMI input 1 which is recommended for proper upscaling of 1080p sources. The 5th port (60FPS 4K) is meant to be reserved for UHD Blu-Ray players or 4K streaming units like Amazon Fire 4K or Roku 4K which I currently do not use so I can't verify this TV's performance for that port. IMPRESSIONS: The upscaling of the Xbox ONE content (gaming, apps) has been stellar. I have my cable box hooked up for passthrough on my Xbox and I've had more mixed results with this signal input. Most TV channels look a little too jagged, but currently this is expected as I'm not feeding a 4k signal. Overall, my impression for upscaling is generally good, not excellent. What keeps this TV at 4 stars, not lower, is the 4K streaming in the apps as a part of the streaming "smart" mode for the TV kit. I liked that this TV didn't require a Roku or Amazon Fire 4K to get native 4K content out of the box. I've used Netflix, Amazon and UltraFlix all in 4K. The quality of the streams have been very good, not excellent. I have to note here, in general, It has been a bit tough to distinguish 4K streaming here for TV shows from the services between a typical 1080p stream on a true 1080p TV. Yes, they're in 2160p, but the quality bump doesn't seem too dramatic. Where 4K has been dramatic for me is in files I've downloaded off YouTube and placed on a USB for use on this TV. Sure they're short clips and I've had to transcode them into H.265 format to be viewed on this TV, but the results are dramatic, skewing Excellent. My only issue with the USB port so far is its file format is as such that files >4gb can't be transferred to the USB stick. My only work around for this is setting up a local DLNA and streaming these files over 4GB using the native DLNA or the Plex App. My only issue with this is I no longer know if it is streaming at 2160p which is a bummer. FINAL NOTE: I didn't care for the "standard" picture out of the box, the TV skewed heavy towards a cooler picture and I searched an AVS forum for some true calibrated pictures for this TV and was much happier with the picture. If you're not a pro, just stick with the "calibrated" or "dark calibrated" settings included with the TV for a better picture out of the box. FUTURE: My hope is that this TV is future proof enough to add a UHD Blu-Ray player and be happy with the performance. This section is "incomplete" as those players aren't on the market yet. For $999.99 for a 60" tv monitor for my XBOX and true 4K native streaming services, I'm overly joyed! Hope my review helps those on the fence!

Will never purchase a Vizio again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV for my husband back in 2016 and in less than 1 year the screen went completely out. We sent it back to Vizio and they sent us another (brand new) tv. Today (a little over 2 years since purchase) my TV has a huge brownish line going down the middle and I'm just done. $1100 down the drain. Buyer beware. Their screen's longevity is a joke.

Defective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My TV came in with a defective volume button. I found out that Vizio knew about it but decided not to recall the TV. They replaced it two months after purchase for a new one. Then the remote control on the second one stopped working after one month. I returned the TV to them and got a refund but this process took almost three months

Highly Impressed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV yesterday after looking at a few models in this price range. Sam's Club had this TV for $50.00 less and Best Buy price matched. The quality is unbelievable. Set up was easy. The TV looks beautiful hanging on the wall. I think it's a bit thicker than some of the other TVs in this range, but still nice and thin. Overall very impressed and love the smart TV apps.

Poor screen quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV 2 years ago & now the screen had dark spots that are growing. Contacted Vizio and they are only willing to give a 13% discuount on a new purchase to replace this poor quality TV. It shows me that Vizio desn't care about the quality of their product or having repeat customers.
