    Best bang for the buck

Bought this tv to gain some real estate. Wasn't exactly looking for a 4K tv but at this price point I couldn't pass on this. I couldn' t be more pleased with the picture quality. Sound was doable but I added a good soundbar to complement the setup. I don't use the apps that often but I was suprised that Vizio added DLNA to their tvs, definite bonus. If you give this tv a go I think you'll be glad you did and save some serious cash to boot.

picked this up yesterday to replace my samsung plasma. i can't say how great the picture is. the blacks excel, beyond my plasma even... very impressed. i used the color correction from cnet at this link :http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/vizio-m65-c1-2015-m-series-picture-settings/?ts=14373972496393 it has very life like colors, upscaling is very good . it's kinda bare bones as far as inputs and extras , but they put the most thought where in belongs...... in the picture. it's only been a day, so i hope it keeps impressing me for years to come

    Vizio did not disappoint

So far this tv has not disappointed me. It was the easiest one I have set up. I purchased this with my Denon receiver. Was plug and play with HDMI cables. The picture has been outstanding. Looks great with Directv on HD channels and Xbox.

if you are not directly in front of the screen (viewing from a small angle) the image is faded and washed-out!

Second choice... But turns out to be the Best

I first purchased an LG 4k that died within 4 days... I then purchased a Sony 4K that had poor motion quality. With detail quality, color, and motion all being very important to me, I returned the Sony and purchased this Visio... Praying that it would be the last. When you purchase a next gen 4K TV, you would expect to have next gen results. This Visio is exactly that! This TV is actually comparable to the Samsung SUHD TV in quality, yet a fraction of the money! I am thrilled with this TV and highly recommend it!

I had to choose between the sam or the vizio. i purchased the samsung 55 suhd flat screen. I think the s stands for stinks!. i went online and this was the same price the same price. no brainer. easy exchange. right out of the box i knew i made the right choice. picture out the box was perfect. i did a little tweaking but nothing i was doing with same. Remote isn't huge, there is a keyboard on back. Setup was simple and straight forward. Black levels are really good BE AWARE. the connections are on the back left side looking at the tv. if your unit is on the right you might need new cables like i did. cables- if the source is not in 4k you dont need fancy cables. 4k dvd players are hitting the market in march @ app $400 and the first movies hitting the stores stink.

Great picture but must view picture directly

I have a 50 inch Visio HDTV and was very happy with the picture quality so when I was looking for a larger screen size and had 4K, I chose this one. The picture quality is very good. I watched a few UH (4K) 2160p shows on Netflix and as expected, could not see a difference between HDTV and 4K. One thing you should consider is you must view the picture straight in front because there is considerable distortion at even the smallest angle. This could be an issue.

My old Visio was starter to give up the ghost after many years of service. The features of this tv definitely vs. the price as compared to Samsung, lg, Sony was a no brainier as one would have to spend twice as much, yes this lacks wifi direct and bluetooth, both of which are available as aftermarket items should I need them, for me the picture is why I was purchasing this tv. Speaking of the picture, it is absolutely beautiful, blackest blacks I have seen short of a $4k OLED or an old school plasma. The biggest drawback as compared to the outgoing Visio is the sound. The speakers on this tv are adequate at best, but is a non issue as i have it hooked to a home stereo

Good picture ... not so smart

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

As reviewed by other professional testers (the reason why I bought this TV), the picture quality is awesome. Good amount of HDMI inputs (with ARC and 4K at 60Hz), optical output for audio and USB. After about almost 2 weeks using this TV, I'm quite satisfied with it, especially at this price. Three things I would bring up to Vizio though. 1. No update on demand feature. Unless Vizio tells you there's an update, otherwise you have no idea nor can you check. 2. Viewing this at an angle will yield a somewhat washed out color compared to viewing from the front. 3. This is a big one, I think. This is a "smart" TV meaning it can offer a suit of online features where you can interact with the net content. VIZIO Internet Apps PLUS or VIA for short is a total joke. After briefly testing Youtube and Crackle, I was convinced not to use these built-in apps ... TOO SLOW and pretty UGLY. Funny fact: Facebook app on this TV is built by Yahoo, which only shows a small smartphone-like window on the left of the screen ... BAD.

    Replaced TV

I replaced a six year old Panasonic 50" plasma with this TV. Sadly, I wasn't able to replace it with a new 4k plasma. (Plus OLED'S are still to expensive) I have owned the new one for about two months now. The color calibration on this TV was not very accurate out of the box. With the help of CNET calibrations I was able to get usable settings. Reluctantly I had to use the cool color temperature setting rather than the normal warmer setting to get the colors to appear correct. Blu-Ray movies play well on this TV. The TV is very sharp and clear when you sit directly in front of it, but as you move to the side the picture quickly gets washed out and looses contrast. This is the main reason I give it a three star rating.

The Best TV for the price

First purchased a Samsung curved 4k and it was terrible for action movies and gaming. Then I bought the Sony 55" 4k, it was just okay.. It had bad black and grey uniformity and a blotchy back-lit screen. Decided to try the Vizio 4k 60" and I could not be happier, it performs incredible for gaming and action films, looks amazing for sports as well. This is a must buy tv!!

    Awesome Picture, Awesome TV

Tried two LG's before this one, one was Trumotion 120 hz and the other trumotion 240 hz. Both looked very choppy and the picture on my old Vizio that is now 4 years old looked better and didn't lag. This TV is advertised 240 hz and whether or not it actually is (most companies have found tricky ways to call their TV's one thing, when the actual output is slower), it looks much better than the LG's. I used the small 4K section on Netflix to decide, and this Vizio looked smother, clearer, and had a better overall picture than the LG's. The movie the Patriot was very fuzzy on the LG's and the 4k nature shows were very choppy when the camera moved for the LG's, as the Vizio was very smooth. No brainer, and with this TV currently at $999 that is an amazing deal for a 4k TV. It is a TV we should be able to use for 7+ years before anything comes out drastically better. One thing I have to note, I don't love 3D so don't care that the TV isn't, and I also don't care much for the TV aps, this one has everyone I would really use, my PS4 has a few more so good to go there. The main knock on this TV is the lack of a web browser and other aps, but this TV has plenty of aps and I would easily trade a better quality TV for some aps I would maybe use once a year.

    Disappointed in the picture quality

Had this for 3 days before I returned it and went with a Samsung for $200 more. The picture quality on the Vizio is just sub par.Screen picked up too much glare from lights and the picture was very poor from an angle. Sports looked great and so did blu ray with very little blur. No Internet browser on the Vizio tvs. Something you find on most. It's not a horrible TV but your going to happier if you spend just a bit more. The difference between this and the similar Samsung was 200 bucks but worth every penny.

After reading reviews and online comparisons, i purchased a Vizio M60-C3. Easy to connect, very stable with the two metal feet and an excellent picture and good sound. It has many features I have not fully explored. I would highly recommend this for quality and price.

Bought this TV for Christmas. The set was easy to set up and immediately started watching. The picture is great in all aspects. I compared to Sony and Samsung. TV is cheaper and picture is just as good. Smart apps work great!! This is my third Vizio set. I have a 32 and 40 inch also. Have not had any problems with any of my Vizio TV's.

After searching for a week and reading lots of reviews. We chose this TV for an upgrade from our 55 inch. The picture quality is unreal, we watched a movie on it the first night and it was incredible! Vizio makes really great products, we have their 5.1 soundbar as well which pairs up nice with this TV

I didnt buy this thru Best Buy, but thru Walmart who doesn't sell this model anymore. I was just looking for a 60" 4K TV and happen to run by this one. I got this tv for a steal of 699$! You can't go wrong with this tv. This tv produces amazing picture when watching 4K. I had to do some tweaking with the settings, but I got it just where I want it. I also got to watch Super Bowl 50 thru CBS App and the picture was the best picture I've ever watched for a football game. The color is very vibrant and solid. The blacks are very deep which makes it that much better. This tv is a must buy. You can't go wrong with Vizio!
