    Picture was terrible, the remote is so cheap, cant set up picture with remote have to use app, don't have internet at home, app doesn't work very well after 3 hours of trying to get app to work, and playing with settings, said its going back to the store. Bought a Sony XBR-55X850D what a difference.

      This VIZIO SmartCast Display, is designed to work the with VIZIO SmartCast App on a compatible Android or iOS device. The app is loaded on the device, and then works as a remote to control advanced features & settings on all of the homes SmartCast products.     I bought this tv based on the great reviews that it had received. After getting it home and setup I didn't notice any difference from the 1080p tv that it replaced. Went back to Best Buy and compared other sets visually and there was a huge difference with all others that had HDR which this tv didn't have. I ended up returning to the store and purchased something else.

    Expected more. Not a tv but a "home display". No tv tuner. Picture and sound go in and out occasionally.

      Thank you for your review! There is a built in setting on our SmartCast Display's that can be adjusted through the SmartCast Application called Surround Sound. This setting uses DTS TruSurround to deliver an immersive surround sound experience from the display's internal speakers. Occasionally, depending on how the audio is being broadcast and how it was intended by the production company, this can cause background noises to be too loud. Disabling this setting should assist with the overall sound quality. VIZIO

    Had 4" wide light and dark lines running vertical Weird. And my wife did not like the fact that you had to use your smart phone to work the TV. The remote that comes with the TV is useless. Took it back and got the 65" LG 1080p smartcast. Love it! Amazing pic. Besides what's the point of having 4k ultra. When there's hardly any 4k programs. Show, etc.

    TV experienced "vertical line failure" in its first 18 days with minimal usage. Screen developed bright blue line and was too costly to repair. After two weeks Vizio shipped a replacement. Rather have had a refund, which was not an option under Vizio policy. Own a dozen tvs. This is the worst quality.
