The sound is ok but I have a soundbar hooked up to it. But I had this tv for 2 yrs and had no problems with it.

The picture can be a little brighter and a little crisper even with maxed out on those settings. The negative or having to go through the Vizio app. For everything from changing the brightness to accessing the smart TV features such as Netflix and Hulu. For the price a decent value but if you can swing the extra $400 go for the Samsung 7 series.

This new software update is rolling out to most VIZIO SmartCast displays and will be downloaded automatically.
