Worked great for 1 month now exchange
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the new TV wonderful colors, very distinct, wonderful tunining, worked really great for 1 month and then we had 4 square type blocks of flashing lines different colors across the screen and the contrast was very dull not clear picture . Geek Squad came out and said it is a panel issue and we just went to do an exchange and new tv and new delivery. So we are hoping this new one will work fine. Really loved this tv, will try again. We are a Vizio household. This one is a top of the line tv and just came out this year so maybe has to get some kinks out. Not giving up. Lots of tvs out htere with lots of new gadgets on them all of which can break. I would still recomend Vizio. Great customer srvice too.

Stunning PQ & Features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The VIZIO MSeries 65" is a stunner. Got this home and was set up in 3 minutes (including set top box and WIFI internet). Was prompted to switch picture mode to Calibrated and the image quality watching TV was amazing. The local dimming really works and produces deep blacks... the colors look rich and motion processing is great. Movies look espeically great. Love using CAST and the app to control content and settings. Apps not availabel on other platforms work perfectly (such as Hulu LIVE beta etc). And was told that in July there will be a firmware update adding an additional on screen smart functionality (search online for images). So cool that significant new features are being added continuously by VIZIO. Reminds me of iPhone where Apple updates software during life of product with more than bug fixes. Kudos to VIZIO on a great product. Only TV I will ever buy after another great experience. You should also know that if you have an issue they have the best customer service based in the US.

Great features with more to come
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have done extensive research on finding the best 4k HDR tv at the right price point... I must say vizio has a winner on there hands with this bad boy... pros- supports hdr-10 and Dolby vision hdr... with a possible update for hdr10+ - the black levels on this tv is amazing even with the local dimming off!!!! It almost looks like the tv is turned off when it's a black screen - great brightness and color - tv is very responsive ... haven't had any issues with gaming on Xbox - upscaling is pretty good I use sling tv Movies look gorgeous Dolby vision will blow your socks off Cons - although motion is pretty ( haven't experienced any judder ) there are no motions options in the menu ... that means no soap opera effect for those who like it.. - no on screen apps as of Yet ( update will be this summer I believe )

Fantastic product for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The contrast is absolutely mind blowing. The new color engine the m series run is absolutely stunning and I find that the new local dimming is great! You get such deep inky blacks on a well balanced picture. Absolutely recommend!

Great tv for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In writing this review you should know I'm all about budget systems and making my dollar stretch. I've been watching vizio rise to through the cheap tv scene for a few years so I was stoked when their m series went on sale. I was really looking forward to grabbing a p series but the price on the m65 eo was too good to pass up. First up, as someone else said there is only one 2.2 port. For me that's not an issue as I have all my other inputs running through a dedicated uhd receiver. This minimizes wiring clutter that I have to hide. With that being said you may have an issue with what you need to prioritize for uhd quality. The speakers suck. They're tinny and lacking. Get a soundbar and sub at the very least if yours gaming and watching movies often. The picture is where it shines. I've watched 4k amazon and upscaled bluray on it and the pic is great for the price. Its a bit washed but it resembles movie theater quality picture. I've watched higher end tvs that were brighter and they had great picture quality but the brightness almost got annoying to me. Remember that this is a budget tv and you'll be fine with the quality. The only thing that bugs me is the judder. Other websites that reviewed this tv stated you'll get judder from streaming and cable but not so much from dedicated players. That's not true. I might just have sensitive eyes but I notice it in everything I watch. Its not always apparent but its there and its not always a big deal. I've gotten used to it. The 4k picture was awesome. Inhavent watched a ton of stuff but what I have watched was spectacular. The interface is basic but easy to use. Go on Google and find the optimal settings for this tv (although right out of the box it looks amazing) Lastly, even though vizio has come a long way I would always recommend an extended warranty to cover past their 1 year warranty. Its just nice to have in this day of subpar manufacturing techniques. I'm happy with this tv. Once I find something else to replace it with I will be placing it in the basement in a movie room. If it craps out in 2 years it will still be money well spent. A 65" uhd hdr10 capable tv for under $1000 (on sale) with all the basic bells and whistles is ok in my book.

VIZIO's M65-E0 is Your Gateway to 4K
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first thing you have to notice when unboxing a HDTV like this is just how simultaneously big and small the thing is. While the display clocked in at a whopping 65 inches, it was less than three inches thick. To give you an idea, that’s smaller than your Game of Thrones season one box set. That’s as thin as about three iPhones stacked on top each other. Somehow, through what I imagine is a combination of brilliant engineering and some type of voodoo, this awesome piece of equipment has packed in an amazing amount of stuff into a space that only continues to shrink with each passing year. But the really mind blowing moment was when I turned this baby on for the first time. After your typical setup procedure, I decided I wasn’t going to throw any curveballs at it right away. I tweaked some of the color settings to my liking and took a stroll through my normal daily grind. I hit several cable channels I like to frequent, loaded up some Netflix, and even knocked out a few Xbox One multiplayer matches. The first area in which the TV deserves credit is how it makes all my old stuff look even better, a pleasant surprise I was not expecting. I can tell you I absolutely love that this HDTV now gives me a portal to cast all my digital content to my display with one simple command, without ever having to setup a secondary device on one of the inputs. No muss and no fuss, just seamless integration. It’s so simple and a thing of beauty. In fact, your phone integration doesn’t stop there. You can easily turn your phone into a smart controller by downloading the SmartCast app, which allows you to access everything from the M65-E0 menus to the tons of on-board media apps that will suck hours from your productivity, guaranteed! At the end of the day, I don’t even know if calling this TV “smart” is appropriate. We might be looking at an A.I. so advanced, it should be kept under lock and key. That’s how Skynet became self-aware, ya know! But in all seriousness, VIZIO has once again proved why they are one of my personal favorite brands in the HDTV market. The M65-E0 packs in just about everything you could possibly want in a full array LED display in regards to picture quality, features, and price. It’s so good; it kinda makes me hate myself for waiting to take the 4K plunge this long.

Mostly happy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most of the picture looks great. When they said that calibrated picture mode is the best, I was a little scared because to me, it was very yellow. But upon messing around with additional settings, I made it seem more normal. I will say that with baseball, some pictures seem slightly better than my regular HD Samsung, but there does appear to be a lot more grainy picture most of time. I have also noticed that most sports seem to have a more grainy picture than a regular LED Samsung. Not sure how to fix that issue, but I will ask their customer service. Also not a fan that the update hasn't come through to access apps such as Netflix through the remote. Right now you HAVE to cast it to your tv from a tablet or phone. That is very, very dumb if you have other people or kids using the tv. You can use a firestick or something similar to use Netflix as well. Another thing I'm not happy about is the remote. When streaming Netflix, you can pause/play the show or movie, but there's no way to rewind or fast forward. Something I hope they will add in the update and that the selection arrows will work as those functions. It could be a deal breaker for me if they don't. It's very annoying to have to use multiple devices to do that. As far as using Netflix or your firestick, I found the picture to be worse than my old (non 4k or hdr) tv. To the defense of the tv, the internet speed appears to be slow and the connection is only 3 of 5 bars. ATT is coming tomorrow to see if they can fix that. I'm hoping that's the issue, I will update if that changes. Overall, other most channels appear to be a great quality and I'm happy for the price. Still might exchange for the Sony X750D at the same price.

Not a purchase for the tech challenged....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into buying this unit fully knowing about the issues with no TV tuner and the HDMI 1 being ARC and the only input fully capable of HDR UHD from certain sources. That being said, after struggling with an external TV tuner and an HDMI UHD splitter (since my older receiver does not have UHD passthrough), I just took it all back and got a different unit. The picture was OK; however, when you add the additional cost for the OTA tuner and the splitter, along with the hoop jumping you are required to do to get everything to work properly (constantly getting HDCP errors, no HDR or DV, etc.), it became too expensive in both time and money...so much so, that the extra monies spend on the add-ons ended up putting me in a position to buy a better unit for just a few bucks more without the hassle. The new unit I bought was just plug-and-play....everything just worked and all I needed to do was tweak the picture. I appreciated this after spending hours trying to get my UHD blu-ray player, 4K UHD streamer, etc. to all work with this Vizio. It shouldn't have been this difficult and Vizio should just make all HDMI inputs the same as HDMI 1 and be done with it (not to mention that putting ARC on HDMI 1 was another fail, IMHO. Lesson learned, at least for me. I like Vizio and thought the picture quality on this unit was quite good for the price; however, this unit can take way too much work and extra cost for the trouble. Be warned.

Best tv in its price range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best tv in its price range.. this thing is amazing and has such an awesome picture. My old lg 4K 55” looks like a tube tv compared to this. On HDR the colors are sooo bright. Best tv investment I have ever made. You won’t be disappointed!!

Amazing TV for The Money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just recently bought this TV and I LOVE it! I was choosing between this and the TCL P series and ended with the Vizio because it came in 65". I haven't utilized the 4K streaming or gaming on it yet, but the upscaling while playing PS4 has been simply incredible. I can't even begin imagine how much better it will look when I upgrade to a PS4 Pro. Two drawbacks I have with the TV: -Very deep blacks for an LED, but not as black as my P Series Vizio (you get what you pay for) -Only one 2.2 HDMI. It should be noted I already knew this when purchasing, but it's not a big deal for me as I'm only planning on plugging my PS4 into this TV for the 4K HDR content. Overall, a great TV with insane picture quality for the price.

Excellent!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome TV. GREAT price with great picture. The USB media playback is flawed (can't navigate and will play randomly on loop). Black are incredible. MUCH better than the $2500 Samsung 1080p it replaced.

Great TV for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wasn't really looking for the BEST of the BEST tv, just something that fell in this price/size range, and had a good picture. Use the picture setting guidelines from the "rtings" review and picture went from 3.8 stars to a solid 4.6 - not quite 5 stars but there isn't an in-between rating. Only using Comcast HD and PS4 for signals, but watched a few 4k clips and picture is definitely better in 4k (c'mon Comcast!!).

Beware! Only 1 HDCP 2.2 Port
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV works well, but I have a serious problem with the fact that it only has 1 HDCP 2.2 port. For true 4K HDR, you need to use the HDCP 2.2 port of your TV. On this TV, only HDMI 1 is the HDCP 2.2 port and its also the ARC (audio return channel) port. This means that if you use a high-end soundbar (like I do) none of your 4K HDR devices can use the TV's 4K capabilities. If you want to see for yourself, and if you own an Xbox One S or PS4 Pro, you can run tests from your gaming console to see these results. I have included a picture of my review (if Best Buy allows it) where I show the results from my Xbox One S when its plugged in to the HDMI 2 port: No HDR support, No 4K at 60Hhz

Vizio 65 inch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Vizio 65 inch was a good TV. You really have to have the proper room for good viewing. I'm glad that I bought the service contract because they replaced it when it started acting up,1 month before the warranty ran out.
