Great looking tv, OS not so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 4k looks great, HDR looks great. There is slight motion blur and flickering when watching a 1080p or lower source. The OS of could use some work. If you have some kind of device that can control the tv (PS4, Xbox One) plugged into HDMI 2 with CEC (Consumer Electronic Control) enabled on the device it causes the tv to hang up when trying to switch inputs. That is why i gave it a 4 star. IF this is ever fixed this would be a 5 star TV. The reflections are worse then other tvs I have had but not horrible.

Gr8 tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv, excellent picture! Easy install. Packaged well. The only thing that I would have changed would be a hard copy of manual.

I’m impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was recommended to me from a great friend. I have to say it’s worth it. After dialing in the picture and activating the HDR I feel great. Deep blacks detailed colors. Great choice!

bigger is better!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a 55 Vizio and love it, although it did require me to purchase a new tv stand to put it on because the legs were too far apart for my old one. but this time before i bought my new Vizio 65inch i made sure it would fit the existing table, it did. plus the hookups in back were what i needed to keep my old surround system. the tv picture is great, plus its a smart tv and is 4k capable. I also got a good deal on the price. the truth is my 55inch tv was still working great, but just wanted a bigger screen. All is good in Texas.

Best tv for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say, I was skeptical buying a Vizio. But man was I blown away with the P series!! The blacks are as good as a led panel can get and the color pops! The calibrated and calibrated dark settings come very accurately preset on the television. The user interface and remote are cheap but I use a Apple TV 4K mostly anyway so it doesn’t bother me. Sound on the tv isn’t good but I use a home theater. If you want a amazing picture for the money. This is it. It doesn’t have the best interface or sound but I can live with that for the price. Plus don’t most of us upgrade the sound anyway? I would buy this tv again and again.

Best HDR TV without Burn in worries
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best HDR TV without the burn in issue that the OLED TV has. It doesn't look as good as the Oled but it is very close... definitely better than any TV in the same price range.

First 4k tv, very pleased
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First 4k tv I have ever personally had, and I am very happy with my purchase. Thoughts... -awesome picture quality; crisp edges, great lighting -audio sent through my surround sound system, which sounds great...synced very easily using HDMI ARC -TV's speakers are good but didn't use past initial test -remote is easy to use, non cluttered layout -smartcast works just as well as my old Chromecast -on board streaming apps are fine, but I recommend using Ethernet cable rather than WiFi for fastest loading times

Vignetting and Dirty Screen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV looks excellent with 4K HDR content. With lower quality content, it just looks ok. There is a decent amount of vignetting and a bit of dirty screen effect (noticeable in video games). The judder is also noticeable in things like the national dog show. When the camera is study on a non-moving dog, it looks great. When the camera pans, there is a bunch of jerking. I wouldn't buy this TV again.

It's a great TV but it has it's faults.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I love it when it's faults don't real get to me. It's big, it has a great picture, It generally rivals any TV out there. So what's not to like? 1) after about 15 months, it developed an issue when you turn it on. It cycles through several resolutions to find the right one on it's own and then the volume spikes to a really high level, drops to 0 then plays at the level you had previously set. Internet searching and Visio's web site said to turn off volume leveling. This did resolve that issue but the volume was then crazy up and down between the show and commercials but also during different scenes within the show. It was a solution that I felt was worse than the problem. I messed with it for three months before I called Visio for help. They declined any assistance. I did eventually get it fixed after a 2nd factory reset. So for now it's OK but one reset did not resolve it. 2) Setting the TV to handle brightness stopped working and would make the screen flicker in brightness when I wanted a really bright screen. This may have confounding issues such as lighting in my house but I don't know. I had to turn off that feature and the screen is darker than I would ultimately like. That said, my Dad and father-in-law enjoyed the Lions game this Thanksgiving on this TV which I still think is a nice enough TV.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is not an OLED by any means, if you walk into BB you can def tell the difference. But for less than half the price, it’s a great TV. I have it in my very brightly lit living room and it does a great job being visible. I didn’t really care about the OS because I have cable and that’s my primary viewing, but I have found that I use the tv’s Netflix and YouTube pretty regularly as that’s my only source for 4K, and I have found it to be simple and easy to use. The 4K looks amazing. The TV looks great on my stand.

Learning curve?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't get me wrong, I love the TV and the help that I got selecting it from Chris at Best Buy. Getting it up and working was easy. The real problem comes in when I tried to figure out the "smart" aspects of the TV. I am at a 3-4 level when it comes to today's technology and the owners manual is in the software of the tv so that in order to read it you can't refer to it while operating the tv. The problem is really with my ineptness but I really would like a hard copy of the manual.

Great TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture is great. Lots of brightness. Colors are vibrant. Sound is reasonable but using a soundbar or surround sound receiver makes movies and sports a joy to watch.

Excellent picture quality! But
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bout this TV while comparing to the Q7fn and this TV looked significantly better than the Q66 deeper colors and brightness was great. I so wanted to keep this TV it was beautiful. The OS on this TV is not the best can have it slow downs Apps on the TV can start slow and no store to download more apps then what it comes with. Has chrome cast which was great... Q7fn has a better OS and it more responsive.. So for gaming quality this TV was Excellent! But HDMI 1 stop working with hdr settings which was my biggest reason for returning.. Got it again and worked great but then while gaming it gotten colored lines across the screen and froze and rebooted twice.. Returned and that's all she wrote.... I'm gonna get the p series, quantum if it fails me I'm never gonna give Vizio another chance. But I do recommend if the tv doesn't fail to work... Excellent picture quality for gaming.

If you still have the unit please give our customer service a call at 877-878-4946 so that we can assist you with your picture issue.

Excellent/ cost effective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So first off, I was initially torn between this and the TCL 6 series. This was about $150 more but that’s negligable when looking for a quality tv. For the money, this was the best TV in the price range. While Somy has a few models that compete and may beat it on certain feature you will spend a pretty penny more. This tv look ABSOLUTELY amazing and you would be hard pressed to find something in this price range with as many features. Must buy if looking for a quality tv under $1000
