I won't by a Vizio again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been recommending vizio TVs to people based on reviews I have read.... then I finally bought one myself... I apologize to everyone that bought a vizio TV from my recommendation. There is a huge difference in viewing And admiring one in store And actually owning one And dealing with it day-to-day. 1st of all this thing never really worked well with the Internet. My router is about 8' away from this TV And the smart cast app rarely is able to Load and therefore the apps that I use daily don't work. No other device in my house has trouble with the wireless connection except this TV. Even the Samsung TV in my garage and the LG TV that is downstairs and 2 rooms over have a flawless Internet connection. I've been dealing with this issue for 2 years Finally decided to call Tech Support which obviously they are only willing to help if it's 1 year warranty. So now I am stuck with this "smart" TV that is not smart enough to connect to the internet. So it's pretty much useless to me. So don't expect to get more than a year out of your vizio TV And don't expect any support. Stick with Samsung and LG tvs, While they also only have one year warranty, At least they will last longer than that.

Very average

Not as good as advertised

Worst purchase ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read the reviews of this television and I thought I was making a great purchase. Boy was I wrong. First of all ergonomically the inputs are unnecessarily difficult to get to if you are mounting it on a wall, Why not just put all the inputs on one side. At least the HDMI inputs. I attempted to run this through a brand new Pioneer Elite receiver. To be fair as long as the HDMI CEC was turned off on the receiver it seemed to work. But that would mean I would not be able to use the Smartcast feature through the receiver. I would get sound through the tv speakers only as long as the HDMI CEC is turned off. If I wanted to get sound through the receiver I would have to hook up an optical cable. That would defeat the purpose of the ARC function. When I turned the HDMI CEC function on the receiver I got no signal. I called Vizio support and let's just say they need better training when it comes to HDMI and how it works. I had the same issue with an older Yamaha Aventage receiver which prompted me to get the Pioneer Elite, I hooked the receiver up to a Samsung tv in my bedroom and the HDMI CEC worked the way it was supposed to. I returned this for a Samsung. Everything works correctly. To be fair if you plan on using a soundbar you may not have any issues with this set. But I cannot recommend this tv to anyone.

Many Issues

Terrible uniformity, dark corners, blooming and bad color gradation in a lot of scenes. Exchanged for a second set from vizio where I asked to make sure I don't get a TV with the same issues and the second set was worse. Got a 6 series Samsung instead for much less and I'm a lot happier.

Great...Until it Breaks

Geek Squad deemed it beyond repair, which is very disappointing for a $1K purchase. Vizio has lost this customer.
