Known problems with Vizio TVs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just do a search out there. Lots of people have trouble with Vizio particularly with power. It (p65-F1) has a beautiful picture until they start to fail. I've got 7 Vizio TVs 4 of them (2 different models) a year old turn on by themselves at random times. You can call them but they don't really take any feedback. I was a supporter until they abandon owners on these issues. Now I'll never buy one again. Use caution!!

Please Do Not Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of the box, there were horizontal lines running through the screen, returned it to Best Buy, and exchanged for the same model. The new one would randomly not detect the HDMI signal when switching inputs, returned for full refund. Do your research, this model has all sorts of problems. Beautiful picture for the price, if it worked.

Gray Uniformity Issues with TV

The TV had a good review on rtings.com which I've used in the past to narrow down TV searches. Sadly I ignored the one warning on the website which stated reports of bad gray uniformity and dirty screen effect (DSE) from customers. During first day of use I noticed a uniformity issue in the center half of my screen when viewing brighter scenes. I tried adjusting some settings but the uniformity issue or DSE was still there. Did some research online and there are many forums where customers have had similar DSE issues with their Vizio P-series 2018 TV. Contacted Vizio about the issue, sending them the same images I've posted showing uneven lighting in the center of the TV resulting in vertical wavy lines using the Flat Test Pattern in the calibration menu of the TV. They said it wasn't enough evidence of an issue with the TV. I have a Vizio M series 4k TV from 2015 which doesn't have this issue and when viewing the same Flat Test Pattern shows a uniform gray across the center of the image. I'm very displeased with the TV and Vizio not owning the issue. This TV is going back and will not purchase another Vizio product again. If looking at getting this TV I'd stay clear.

Not so great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this after reading all the great online reviews in late 2018. This Vizio has tons of issues and there is a reason why they dropped the price. Lots of blue/red lines that just appear on the screen while watching. Over on AVI forums there been many folks that went through 4 or 5 sets and still same issues...I took some pics of the lines I mention and showed to Vizio..they didn't seem to care.

Poor picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This tv is worse then the one I bought back in 2009 which always had a great picture and auto adjusted everything. I can't get 4k movies to look good without snow effect except the brand new movies. any movies that where older that they put on 4k look worse then the blu rays. I can't stand having to change settings non stop.

Posted .Hello Mike, thank you for the feedback. A few things that might help you get the kind of picture quality you are looking for. First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark. Ruined Christmas

Buy another brand and product you might actually get something that works. Gave a picture of the only thing this tv does spent over a grand for a light triangle to go on and off.

Great picture, except hdr
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When watching hdr or dolby vision on the netflix on the tv we get some mad flickering, even with the extra settings turned off. Seems to be a common issue. Pretty disappointing. Very noticable in okja 4k dolby vision.

I hate this TV, constant white horizontal lines
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst TV I have ever owned, I get constant white static lines that appear at random on multiple hdmi inputs. I use high quality cables, called Visio they want me to reproduce on the Smartcast internal input. Couldn’t get that to happen, Visio just blows you off making it seem like it’s an external input problem. Do some google searching on Vizio TVs and white static lines and you’ll see this is a common problem. Also other reviews report this, I hate this TV should have bought a Samsung instead.

Full active array issues

After about a year, the full active array will bug out and you will get random dim sections of your screen constantly. This is a very common problem and there is no fix for it. Only thing you can do is turn off full active array, but that makes the picture super dim. Disappointing.

Broke after 7 months

Reached out to Vizio support but it has been horrible to deal with. Beating myself up for not paying a little more for the sony x900f or the Samsung Q7F. At least there I would have had a piece of mind that my money wasn't a total waste.
