I bought this TV after initially looking at the Samsungs at a similar level and am very happy with my purchase. The overall brightness works well for a room with a sliding glass door and a ton of natural light. The 4k picture quality is great and honestly don't see myself needing anything more. Hoping this lasts me the next 10 years.

The picture quality is about as good as you're going to get in this price range at the time of purchase (2 years ago for just under $1000). However, I find it hard to recommend it because Vizio's software and UI are just terrible. They get slower over time as you own the TV (as I said, 2 years in now), and inputs and sound seems to glitch every now and then with my setup. So if all you care about is picture quality and you don't mind somewhat frequent bugginess, then this is the way to go if you can get a good price. Otherwise, I'd recommend saving up for something with software that matches the picture quality.

Was going to buy the TCL 6 series but ultimately went with this one and I can tell you I have made the best decision. Football looks beautiful and vibrant colors. The Xbox one X hooked up to this TV is Unbelievable.

    Great picture - Exceeded Expectations

The TV is great. The picture exceeded what I was expecting in terms of quality and color clarity. Things look beautiful on screen. Motion is not an issue. I have one issue. The ARC functionality. If I go to use menu items, the ARC automatically switches to another input and I have to go change it back to my cable source. It's annoying as I try to avoid hitting any button on the remote. When the TV comes on, I get a persistent message everytime about HDMI-1 being renamed. If I clear the message, the input changes and I have it to do it twice before it goes away. I'm not gonna lie. It's pretty annoying. But other than that, the picture itself is awesome. Please Vizio... Release firmware to fix the ARC issue. I've read about an update that poeple have been waiting to receive for months. Any Update?

Purchased this TV after looking for weeks. Trying to convince my wife we should spend nearly 3k on an OLED, but so glad we didn’t. After going through the setup and firing up DirecTV. I was amazed. The out of the box picture settings obviously need adjusting and after finding the info on search engines, the tv was perfect. The contrast is exceptional for an LED. Bright enough for a living room and also provides clarity and contrast in darker rooms. Can’t comment on sound as I have it going through a soundbar. Would love to try the Atmos though bestbuy need to send me a unit to review (winky face) The TV comes into its own when watching Netflix or Amazon. Anything source with HDR, Dolby Vision etc. It is insane how good it looks. I would take this over the Sony’s and Samsung’s.....especially Samsung’s all day everyday. Great price and feels very well made.

In addition to having several presets for picture it is easily customizable to your preference. Very bright (1000 nits) and the full array led display is gorgeous! Dolby vision hdr produces great contrast and deep blacks. Contrary to other reviewers, I actually like the simple remote a lot also.

I bought this based on the many positive reviews around the web and based on seeing it in-store. I got a good deal from another company, but Best Buy price matched so I did the deal right there. I upgraded from an old 2007 model 1080p Vizio model to this one and picture quality is night and day even right out of the box I didn't have to tweak many settings to get a great looking picture. The apps are solid and probably the best way to access streaming content on the device. The upconversion from 1080p content is really good in most cases though there is only so much the TV can do with low bit rate video supplied by my cable provider. The biggest issue that I have is a lack of 4k content, but that will come and streaming good 4k is just great.

I have been looking hard for a reasonably priced 65" screen capable of interpreting HDR10 encoding to take advantage of the great pictures. I didnt have to spend $3000 to get this benefit. This tv fits the bill literally.

I purchased this particular model new from the store after researching comparisons with several other brands. Based on my experience with previous models (still working flawlessly) I felt comfortable purchasing another Vizio. I did not feel the need to purchase the store extended warranty which ended up biting me. Long story short, the panel was malfunctioning within three weeks of purchase and just outside the store's ridiculously short return window of 14 days. I was forced to work with Vizio's scripted troubleshooting "experts" through the customer service line who kept insisting it was a faulty HDMI cable although they were brand new and worked fine on any other device. I finally was able to get to a manager who arranged a replacement unit. Once the refurbished replacement unit arrived, the unit worked fine for about a month and the same issues began to present (panel flickering constantly until the unit had been on for several minutes and then intermittent flickering from there on). I tried every troubleshooting trick in the book and from multiple sources. Changing the HDMI input off the ARC input helped a little bit but the problem still persists. I haven't bothered requesting another replacement as it will most likely be more of the same. I fully intend to bite the bullet on my next purchase and avoid Vizio products altogether and go for a LG OLED. That being said, when the picture is not flickering or just a black screen while "warming up" the colors look good with 4k and HDR content and would be well worth the price point if it weren't for the panel issues.

The TV is really big and pretty heavy in packaging to carry upstairs, would suggest looking at it in store before buying. Doesn't display true blacks very well but it might just be our settings, noticed this in Mowgli. Otherwise, great TV and I can see the pores on faces now, definitely worth it in my opinion if you're looking for a crisp image without buying OLED or QLED. Was going to buy a QLED before this and looked up specs and I think the only major difference besides one being QLED and this one not was the backpaneling which I think after researching, this one's type was better but I also don't know a lot about TVs. Mostly just looked on reddit for a post with best TVs and specs, no regrets.

This is my second P series TV, and once again vizio delivers. The 240hz refresh rate isn't offered by anyone else in this price range and it makes a big difference. Color is great, sound is great and the widgets make it easy to do whatever. I highly recommend this tv.

After spending a while comparing TV's we decided on this TV for it excellent picture quality. The picture is still amazing at home when running through the Xbox. We have cut the cord with cable so TV is only through the apps. HULU Live is not available, and HULU streaming picture quality through the TV app is terrible. HULU Live/Streaming through the Xbox is excellent. We also bought the Samsung NU8000 which also has a great picture quality that works well through the built in apps. I can't speak to cable quality. One other note that we didn't notice originally is this TV is an energy hog (triple the Samsung we bought and most other TV's we looked at).

With the help of our amazing sales guy that answered all of our questions we picked out a Visio TV. It has great specs on it but not the hefty price tag that Sony or Samsung have. I felt like we got a premium TV for a fraction of the price.

Brought this home, set it up next to my 10 year old Panasonic plasma, and sync'd up Moana on both on both sets. After about 90 minutes of playing with the picture settings on the P-series in a bright and dark room, I gave up trying to get the sunsets and night scenes to look as pleasing as they do on my old set. It's way better than the plasma in many ways (brightness, connectivity, interface, bezel, resolution) but I wasn't looking to spend $1000 on a replacement TV that wasn't better in every way. Boxed this up and brought it back. Paid twice as much for an oled replacement and am super, super, super happy with it.

Caught TV on a sale and thought give it a try. Took a bit for "Updates" but my internet is slow. Rest of the setup was fast and easy. Even with our 11 year old DirecTV box(480p) has a good picture and movies on DVD 1080p are GREAT!

I was unaware of the P-Series until visiting a Best Buy store. It was so much brighter than the D or E series. I love watching shows that were often darker like Game of Thrones, movies, etc... The sound is pretty good also...
