I have been reading reviews on several models for weeks now, I'm an LG guy and was very hesitant about VIZIO. All these people complaining about the tablet are crazy, its great and the wife loves it too (very easy to use). So happy I went with the 70", however I could see a slight difference in picture quality compared to a comparable Sony 65" for about the same price. Its only been a couple days since purchase and I'm very happy with it so far. Also purchased PlayStation 4 Pro to go with it, frigging awesome!!

Installed yesterday by Best Buy; The installer had problems with the Tablet... had to call Vizio But, got all working with my Cable remote, sound Bar, Roku........ works great with just the cable remote. Had a 6 years old Panasonic 58" Plasma, which I loved the picture BUT this is a big, big improvement. Not many programs in 4k.

    2nd One...

First one showed up with the rubber around the inside of the screen hanging out and sticky sliver on one side... This seems to be quite a quality control issue and would be easily seen. No way be physical damage packaging was perfect... Best buy was absolutely great on having a new one delivered problem is I have to wait a week...... Vizio's response will be this is very unusual but quality control seems to be quite an issue if this made it through.....

Have been looking for a while for a 4K TV and chose this one. Picture is great the Apps and the tablet that come with it are very cool. The help at the store in Abeline Tx were great very professional and helpful in understanding what I was buying

    NO HDR!!!!

All of the reviews about HDR causing the picture to go black and colors to wash out are 100% legit. I cannot use HDR for Ultra HD Blu ray or video games with Xbox One S. TV is worthless to me now.

    Nice picture but MANY BUGS

I've had this tv for about two months. Purchased in-store and delivered. Nothing but problems. Sometimes it won't turn on, using either the tablet or simple remote. I finally became fed up after recurring problems and chatted with customer support online. They're very helpful and no hassle, I will say that. I'm getting a replacement unit in the next few days. I will update my review once received. I'm being patient and willing to forgive if the new unit works well, without bugs. I'm not very confident in this product. There are a lot of kinks and bugs with the wireless tablet remote. There's a reason upper tier competitors haven't released similar models - they're not ready for release.

    Aweful picture

I have faith in Vizio, but this TV was a bust. No matter what I did to the picture, it looked awful. Motion was blurry, images often looked pixelated, and the only way to make the picture watchable was to make it so dark you couldn't see the problems. I spent a week and countless hours trying to find the right settings. I even brought in the Vizio customer service folks. There was just no fixing a bad picture. I wound up buying a 65" Samsung 8000 series and the picture is 100% better. Hats off to BestBuy customer service, though, who picked up the Vizio when they dropped off the new Samsung even though I had tossed all the packaging. I'm glad I went with BestBuy!

    No picture. Vizio is horrible

I was always skeptical of Vizio, they're cheap for a reason however a friend recommended this one. Never again. First time buyer and after 45 minutes of setting up the TV has no picture. I also noticed light leakage from the backlight. After all the effort it took me to get a TV shipped and into my apartment, it's completely useless. Customer service gives me a 7-10 day in house replacement window. Really? A whole week to swap out a defective unit? Horrible service. Buyer beware.

Poor smart TV, Casting buggy if works at all

I own several VIzio TV's and have had good luck playing media with the Smart TV apps. However with this TV, the TV is dumb and the "smarts" are in the Android tablet. The casting apps are buggy, some won't connect to the TV at all. Worst of all, the ethernet on the TV is only used for firmware upgrades and all media is cast from the tablet or smartphone app over WiFi. This nullifies a high performance GB network with high throughput media servers or other streaming servers or workstation.

Thank you for the feedback. Once the display has been setup for casting you should be able to utilize either WiFi or Ethernet connections without issue, so long as the smart device you're casting from is also connected to the same network. VIZIO

    What a dissipointment

Got this home no problem and it was easy to get setup. Remote was cool but responded slow after 2 upgrades. Bottom line here worked great the first night, then shut it off and went to bed. When I turned it on the next day the screen was black. Vizio support said the back light failed. Very disappointed and lots of work to take it back.

    Awful, Repair after Repair

This has been the worst TV we've ever had. I bought one, then had to take it back to the store three days later because the picture kept freezing in weird red lines. Then Best Buy gave me a discount to take another new one instead of getting my money back. Good thing I got the Geek Squad warranty because I'm about to have my second repair on the "new" TV and they are going to replace the main video board for a second time because the picture keeps freezing in weird wavy lines. DO NOT BUY THIS TV!!!!!

The remote setup is A joke, the picture is not that great. Gets stuck when pairing and you have to do that all the time, it won't stay paired. Bought A tablet a couple weeks later, wasn't allowed to use rewards points from tv purchase, thanks bestbuy.
