I purchased this 70 inch because of how pleased I was with the 55 inch version I have in another room. Less than 3 weeks in and the backlights have failed. Will have to return. Seems to be a common issue with Vizio these days. Oh well. You live and you learn.

I do not recommend this Tv Vizio

Im soo dissapointed, did not buy warranty thinking since being new it would atleast hold on for a good while before needing repairs . I do not recommend this Tv makes me not wanna spend 2k 3k on a tv because you never know till you get it at your house and start whatching it

This tv is headache

I just returned it today and writing this review.. please don't don't buy it.. all of sudden picture goes dimm it happen every couple of hours and once a day it's goesnt show the source although source is connected then I have to restart the TV then it will connect.. I was so tired of this that I returned it .

Got a lemon

Go to store!!!

The deliver drivers were rude as can be. Ordered a brand new tv off of the bestbuy app, and they brought me a opened box tv. The box had geek squad tape all over it, and then the drivers argued with me telling me it was new. Long story short, opened box and tv was used. Went to the store and they went beyond and above to make it right for me.

Fine at first but give it a few months

We have unplugged it from the wall and it still will not turn off which is weird. Like how can it still be on with no power source?? Been looking online and tried the whole hard reset thing and still no luck! I sent a request to Vizio for a repair, but who knows how long that will take!

Only lasted 8 months

Without warning, the tv stopped turning on. Before the screen stopped working, we had trouble with the apps and bought an Appletv to solve that. Vizio has been my go-to tv brand for years, and this is the first time that I have seen anything like this.

Don’t Buy

Not a pleasant experience and definitely not worth the price tag.

At VIZIO we pride ourselves on our highly rated picture quality. Sites like CNet, RTings, and Reviewed.com consistently rate VIZIOs picture quality among the best in the industry. To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and that you’re getting an HD (or UHD) signal. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the Vivid or Calibrated setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. Well done bestbuy, I seen consumers bringing them right back the next day. If you really want to bring and keep customers, give them something that they can actually enjoy and be satisfied with their purchase!

This is the SLOWEST platform I have ever encountered, won’t load 4K movies, has to be unplugged at least once every two weeks because it freezes up. This TV is a joke. I have not even had this TV a year.

Defective screen

Posted .Hello Melissa, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.
