Yanni introduces some fantastic young singers in this new CD. The music is an eclectic mix of styles and languages, with Yanni's familiar melodies as the base to all of the songs. There were no bad songs on this CD! The following are my absolute favorites: The Keeper - Leslie Mills. Mills' etherial voice adds to Yannis' haunting melody. Our Days - Leslie Mills. This time, Leslie Mills song adds power to song with a decidedly Middle Eastern flair. 1001 - Yanni. This solo piece by Yanni is powerful and emotional. Yanni at his best! Vivi Il Tuo Sogno - Nathan Pacheco. Pacheco's operatic voice adds new layers to this romantic, soulful melody. Set Me Free - Chloe. Chloe's passionate vocals are edgy and powerful.

I have been a Yanni fan from years back. He has an uncanny way of invoking the emotions and senses with his harmonious instrumentals. Untraditional of his classical styling, Yanni enlisted the aid of four talented vocalists which brought their own style to the foreground of Yanni's ethereal melodies. Each track has an individual appeal and seems to be inspired from various parts of the globe. Personally, I found this refreshing. I did not get bored with the same old songs yet embarked on a wondrous journey throughout various countries. I would highly recommend this album to those unfamiliar with Yanni's previous accomplishments. The vocals will ease you into to Yanni's tranquil style, making you yearn for more!

Yanni Voices is amazing! Our family watched the PBS special and enjoyed it immensely. Yanni unselfishly showcased the remarkable and diverse talents of the four vocalists chosen for this project. This CD/DVD broadened our children’s musical spectrum and they were excited to hear the selections they recognized from the PBS special. Listening to the CD, coupled with watching the special made our family feel as if we would like to experience the Yanni Voices Tour. We highly recommend the Yanni Voices CD/DVD for your entire family. Thanks to Yanni, Nathan Pacheco, Leslie Mills, Chloe, and Ender Thomas for partnering together to provide such an incredible work of art that touches the soul.

I recently watched the PBS special of this CD during a pledge week. I was captivated! This is not your mother’s Yanni! Yanni has turned over his classic instrumental music to 4 young talented songwriters and performers. The results are absolutely beautiful. I am not a musician, I am not a singer, I do not know the Italian or Spanish language. I do not need to know these things to understand the beauty of voice, depth of emotion and the talent of all the musicians. There are 17 selections with a bonus DVD introducing the artists, Nathan Pacheco, Leslie Mills, Chloe (Lowery) and Ender Thomas, with a preview of the current tour. This collection is perfection and well worth the money.

Yanni Voices features the talents of not only famed singer Yanni, but also the talented voices of Nathan Pacheco, Chloe, Ender Thomas, and Leslie Mills. This is a BEAUTIFUL cd and I can safely say (once I figure out the lyrics) I will be sure to be singing along in my car. My favorite song on the disk? Mi Todo Eres Tu (Until the Last Moment) takes that cake because I love LOVE powerful operatic duets. Chloe and Ender’s voices work SO well together. I wasn't disappointed with this cd at all and I suggest that if you like classical music, opera music, New Age music or wanted to hear a new take on any of the aforementioned types of music get out and get this cd!

I am not a Yanni fan, so I have to admit that when I first heard about this project, I wasn't sure if I'd like it. However, after hearing several people rave about it, I had to check it out. I am definitely impressed! This CD beautifully showcases Yanni's musical style with the addition of four very talented singers. I really love the song "The Keeper" the best, although there is not a song on this CD that I don't enjoy. We especially like playing this CD at dinner because it is nice and peaceful to listen to while we're having a family meal. Even if you're not typically a lover of this style of music, I would still recommend giving it a try!

We had some friends over for dinner last night and so I popped in the Yanni CD. Most of them weren't people who would have ever thought to buy anything Yanni but as the lyrics started they were impressed. His music is so relaxing that it's perfect for an evening in or a nice dinner with friends. I liked the idea of the other singers on there which really spiced it up. Overall, this was a great classical CD and very enjoyable.

I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by this reinvention of Yanni's music. This is not the music you may remember from back in the day. He collaborates with a group of very talented singers to produce music just about anyone can enjoy. I personally love finding new music to listen to. If you are a true lover of music and looking to grow and expand your library, pick up this CD/DVD. You will not be disappointed.

I recently got the chance to review the new Yanni Voices CD/DVD. Even though it isn't the type of music I normally listen to, I tried to listen with an open mind. At first listen I was quite impressed. The singers definitely make Yanni's music more interesting for me. I don't see it being something in my regular rotation, but I think I'll give it a listen now and then. It would definitely make great background music.

The music and the singers go very well together. I've never listened to any of Yanni's music before, but with the singers he chose to sing on this album it seems he's trying to pull in a younger crowd. And it works because I really liked a few of the songs! The two women who sing on this album are very talented. I liked song #5 Before the Night Ends, #11 Set Me Free, and #16 Nei Tuoi Occhi (In The Mirror).

I’ve always been a fan of Yanni and so when the new “voices” album came out, I was thrilled to be able to go out and get a copy! Each one of the vocalists have such a unique voice and each song creates a different feel. One of my favorites on the album is “Moments Without Time” because I remember that melody so vividly years ago and now to hear it again in a different way is still such a joy to listen to. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is new to Yanni…you may just surprise yourself. And for those of us who have always enjoyed his music, then you’re in for a real treat.

Yanni Voices is a stunning, sweeping and majestic CD. It features 4 very talented singers and Yanni's signature musical style. There are duets and instrumental pieces on this CD. There are different styles of music that will appeal to different listeners. "Ritual De Amor" drips sensuality. The mellow "Vivi Il Tuo Sogno" The Balladlike "Before the Night Ends", the Asian flavored "Orchid" which was an unexpected and pleasent surprise. My two personal favorites are "Set Me Free" and the instrumental "1001" which proves that music can tell a story and evoke emotion without words.

I was a bit of a skeptic when I was realized that Yanni Voices was classified in the "New Age" section. That section was not really a section I ventured out easily to. Not sure if my taste in music has changed or whether this is the type of music that appeals to everyone but I love this CD. It has a bit of all types of music and I wonder if it due to the fact that ensemble includes four different, yet complementing artists. It certainly is a rare treasure to find such talented musicians all sitting in one cd. I would be really surprised if you did not like it too.

Yanni has done it again with this cd. Yanni Voices is a good cd. I'm not typically a "New Age" fan. However, I have always liked listening to Yanni occasionally. I think he has a nice sound, and is very calming. My children even listen to him while going to sleep sometimes. I think it could have been a better cd, without the voices... but was good either way.

I like Yanni's music, especially for when I'm working on the computer and just need some soothing background music. After receiving the Yanni Voices CD, I must say I am fairly pleased with it. The voices he chose to accompany his music are truly beautiful. And as always his music itself is lovely, too. The voices definitely add something special! Nice CD!

Yanni Voicestakes you away from the chaos of our everyday life into a relaxing and invigorating journey. The energy of the music coupled with the amazing voices of Nathan Pacheco, Ender Thomas, Leslie Mills and Chloe really takes this fabulous music -- and you to a new place. The CD starts with great energy, ends on a soft note, and keeps you wanting more! It is a great way to make traffic bearable and my children really love it too! If you are not a Yanni fan, I still highly recommend this CD. It will surprise you!

I'd not given Yanni much notice before, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to learn more about Yanni at a blogging conference earlier this year. The four singers he's brought on board (Nathan Pacheco, Chloe, Leslie Mills and Ender Thomas) are fine vocalists, and the instrumentals are outstanding. I recommend you give this one a closer look.

I had actually not heard any of Yanni's music before this album. For a first time listener, I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised! This is such a great album to relax to at night and to concentrate at work to! You can tell what chemistry the artists have with Yanni as far as the mesh of the music and lyrics. Definitely worth a listen!

I must say, I was a little surprised with this CD. If you are a classic Yanni fan, you may be disappointed as it stars other singers. All four the the singers are great, but the two girls are outstanding. I would recommend the CD just for three songs alone, but you will fine more then that to your liking. My fav. song was "The Keeper"!

Yanni is amazing. The man doesn’t just play his music, he is his music. You can feel his soul coming out of every pore of his body. I think that I may have forgotten to breathe for a moment. Yanni is truly a phenomenal performer. I was mesmerized. If you are the type of person where music can move you, this is what will happen when you listen to Yanni Voices. The first song and I was hooked. One song literally moved me to tears because it was so beautiful. Definitely a MUST BUY!
