Also, we are having a little issue with its temperature control and telling them right temperature in the room. It’s giving us warnings about a warm room when it’s not the temperature that is showing.

The display is grainy and hard to make out things in the dark. Everything else works well on it though.

My 96 year old grandfather who needs 24/7 monitoring due to Alzheimer’s has proven this camera system to be an absolute lifesaver. I’m able to do stuff in the home without direct line of sight, while still able to monitor his actions. The motion and sound alarms help grab your attention when he is on the move.

Bad monitor

Cheaply made

We had to return it and will be purchasing a different brand because of the antenna’s poor quality.

Connectivity issues

After about 10 months we had constant issues and finally it just stopped connecting to our network and I couldn’t connect it to our phones. We decided to buy this camera RM5766-2HD this last June and it was great and we loved having two cameras. It was the same design as our old one so it was great. Our sons room is just on the other side of the wall and after about 2 weeks, one of two cameras stopped working. We have reset the camera and made sure it was on and it will not connect to the monitor even though we’re only about 15 feet away. This is 2 cameras we have went though in about 2 years and honestly I’m unhappy with having to keep paying for cameras. We bought this camera because of the ratings being so good but we haven’t had any luck from either VTech camera that we’ve bought
