I bought 2 sets of these Vtech camera's. The first set worked great.Then i got this second set soni could have a camera in every room of my house to watch my elderly mother and grandchildren. Now i can not get any of them to set up for recording. 1 doesnt record at all the other 3 say there are recordings but when i clicknin them either i cannonly go back 30 min or not at all.Says no recordings to be found even tho it says detected motion. I reset them all a few times. And still wont work! I contacted the App developers thinking it is something there because the reviews have dropped since some update was done. Nobody wants to repond and I have 4 camera's that are worthless. So my review is at this time,DO NOT BUY THESE! From this company. I m past the return period or I would. Best Buy needs to take them off shelves or go down with this company for selling junk items.

It’s awesome I can see my grand baby while she sleeps and I can do my chores the video are nice and clear.

Like having two cameras and we can view cameras with phone.

Not worth it. Even when not on wifi, it can barely maintain a connection to the cameras. Video and audio quality is not good either. Would return but it's past the return window.

Absolute Garbage. Issues with the 2-way talk fature out of the gate. Should have returned it immediately. But i decided it was fine. Now a couple mknths later it is constantly disconnecting from both the included display and the app rarely shows the camera feed. Both cameras are next to a node for my mesh router so i know connection isnt the problem.

Has a great quality picture and easy transportation.

FIRST PURCHASE OF BABY MONITOR. SET-UP WAS FAIRLY EASY. INTERNET CONNECTION IS SLOW TO MAIN MONITOR .

This VTech Smart Baby Monitor has lots of good qualities and features that are convenient and I really, really like it. But it did loose connection once and I really hope that was just a one time issue. That made me really nervous when it notified us that it wasn’t connected but at least it was clear that we needed to connect it again. I like that it is that it’s a pan cam and you can pretty much see that whole bed that the baby is in by moving the camera in different directions. It comes with a nice size monitor and two cameras. It’s easy to place the cameras on a flat surface or hang them up with the included screws and anchor. The monitor can be used on battery so you can bring it with you from room to room. That is convenient while working in the home office during the day, we can use the battery and leave the plug in the bedroom for when we use it at bedtime there. It’s easy to see status of the battery and when to recharge it. You can also use your phone app to view if you are away from home or from the monitor. And with two cameras, it makes it so convenient if you have children in more than one room. The picture quality is great and clear even when it’s dark at night. Another great feature is being able to communicate with the camera of your choice, so if the baby is up and crying, you can sing or talk with her to hopefully help soothe her without having to go in. It also includes a few sounds you can play for baby for a specific time period or until you turn it off. There are also different options for how you choose to view the 2 camera. We love the split screen to see both at the same time and the option that toggles between them every few seconds. It does have so many great features that I love so I truly hope it doesn’t loose connection in the future. I almost forgot to mention that it offers different colors and brightness if you want to use it as a night light. Another great feature!

I would say the only problem is the image gets distorted a lot and it is very close

The picture quality is not so great in the dark. Sometimes the image is very blurry and pixelated as soon as the device wakes up on detecting motion.

This is the 4th time buying and retuning this product. We love it because it’s so easy to use and has great image, that’s why we’ve been trying so many times to make it work. The problem is one of the cameras after 3 weeks of working perfectly it suddenly disconnect and it’s impossible to reconnect, no matter what you do. Don’t buy it! we maybe thought it was bad luck, but 4 times with the same software issue it’s definitely not bad luck. Such a shame because we really liked it.
