Just bought this phone to replace an old Panasonic

My voicemail is now through my ISP so I didn't need the answering machine function which are added to most land line phones nowadays...plus it drives up the cost of the phone! This was perfect and met my needs to have a main phone and a satellite in the family room. This phone fit my needs perfectly and so far has been great---I particularly appreciate the back lit dial for evening use....
