Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the claim of "message time and date stamp," it does not actually tell you the DATE of messages at playback. Vtech support confirms that none of their phones actually play back the date of a message, only the day of the week. For example, the message playback will say it was received "Friday," not "Friday, December 8." Clearly a case of false marketing. The date stamp is used, however, on the "caller ID log," a list of the last 30 calls you received. But since the phone also does not tell you the phone number of the recorded message, there's no way to relate the message to the ID log even if you were willing to go thru all that... Also, there's a real tendency to press the Flash/Talk or Off/Cancel buttons with your cheekbone while talking, kicking you out of the conversation and possibly disconnecting your call. Sound-quality and cordless-range have been OK in our house.

awful phone

I bought this because my other Panasonic phone stopped working after 4 years. I liked the red color too. But talking on this phone is a nightmare. I am constantly hanging up on people because my cheek hits the off button. I am returning in at once. Its not comfortable to use because of this poor design. I have to hold it off my face. Forget about holding it for a second with your shoulder if your hands are busy- instant hang up!

Sound quality could be better. Short battery life too.
