We bought it for my younger son’s room since we do not allow him to have a cell phone yet. He’s upstairs and we are downstairs so having this phone helps us be able to communicate with him without heaving up and down the stairs every time. The phone is very easy to use by following directions. My son is 11 years old and has no trouble.

Great Cordless Phone Unit

The phone is large enough to hold comfortably and is easy to use. Volume is great and voices are clear. This phone is better than much more expensive units.

I bought for my dad, he prefers to have a phone that "speaks" who is calling. Caller ID only on the screen. I imagine that costs extra. There weren't many phones left. But I think this works well. Calls are clear.

If using thru cable (i.e. Comcast) will need to have your phone use activated in the modem and set up voice mail to work either on the phone or with your cable company. Phone directions are a little complicated and hard to follow.
