When I call her now the voice quality on this phone is not that great. I guess that's why it was so cheap. Should have returned it, but my mother didn't want to be bothered returning it!

Good cordless phone

Reading the name of the caller is very difficult-seems dim, not enough contrast which is very inconvenient if you don't want to answer every junk call. The battery doesn't seem to last very long for a new phone but is okay if you put it on the charger at night.

Cant turn ringer off, but not tinny

I bought it to really just test my fax line... because honestly, who has a home land line anymore? Well, if you do, then this one still may not fit the bill, there is no option to turn the ringer off!! That's a big miss in my opinion. However, unlike other cheapy phones, this one doesnt sound tinny when making a call.
