    Excellent phone for ease of use

    This phone the VTech - CS6114 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone - White, is a great phone for the elderly for it is very easy to use. The only thing against the phone is that it does not have the locator button so if you misplace the handset you can't just 'beep' the phone to find it.

    V-Tech digital cordless phone

    I bought this same cordless phone at Best Buy a year or two ago per an employee’s recommendation and found it to be just what I needed when I had to replace an old phone that stopped working. Concerned it was so inexpensive, I found I was not disappointed to buy this second phone. It’s easy to use, has good connection, and love the backlit keyboard and display and Caller ID.

  • Is there a speaker phone feature with Model CS6114?

    No it does not, and the sound quality isn't very good. It sounds like the other person is speaking while in a tunnel. The hollow sound is horrible. I just needed an extra emergency calls only for my parents. Incase their cell phone goes dead. **I Don't Recommend This Item **Very Cheap Sound

    This phone can be wall mounted which is what I was looking for when I bought it.

  • what is the range from the base?How far (in ft) can a user go from the base station til call drops?

    I'm not sure of the exact feet but the cordless phone is plugged in downstairs and able to make calls upstairs and throughout the house. We can also use phone in garage and front yard area. Hopefully, this helps. =)
