Q: Does the phone announce who's calling?
A: I just purchased this phone yesterday and yes, it does indeed announce caller id. If yours does not you should return it to the store you bought it from.
A: I haven't noticed an audible tone signifying a voicemail, only indication on base unit.
A: My handsets are 55 and 70 feet apart and they work fine. So, I assume 75 would be fine. They ARE all wired together even though the handsets are "wireless"
Q: Are there batteries to be replaced in the handsets?
A: There are rechargeable batteries provided with the phones. The bases will charge them. I would expect they will function well for a decade or more at which time you could put in new replacements.
A: Hi, I'm also a senior. If your cable provider has set up their system right you should be able to plug the base into one of the regular phone outlets in your home. If this doesnt work then it will work by plugging into the telephone slot on the modem as long as you are signed up for telephone service thru your cable provider. Each opening on the modem should be labeled, some even have 2 telephone line slots
A: yes the phone well not ring it well go to record
Q: Can I set the number of rings before it goes into the answering mode
A: Yes. 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 rings.
Q: Is there a port for headsets
A: No, but you can use bluetooth headsets.

Good sound.. nice volume control. Stay charged a long time. Has caller ID..directory..call block..we get far less junk calls and robo calls on this phone than we did before. They also have pretty blue lights and are easy to hold. Love the speaker phone function. It’s great for long calls and the sound is very good. All in all this trio of phones is a great value for the price,

It is not the easiest system to use, the Uniden that I had before was much more simple to use. However, it does do the job but there are several times do I have to look at the instructions to do what needs to be done. The writing on the main control that covers volume and directory is very very small.

My Vtech telephones( 3sets broke down).I am familiar with Vtech,so I purchased it again on line. For what ever reason,it did not cover a large enough area, and I have to return.I went to Best Buy in person and had a one on one assistance from a sales representative. After long discussion,I decided on the one by AT&T.I am very satisfied with it.The in person experience was very impressive.
