A: Hi! The KX-TGD863 was just released and it is an updated model. It has a unique design and does have an answering machine. The KX-TGD563 is from 2016 and it can support up to 150 call block numbers, while the new model supports up to 1000 numbers. -A
Q: Can volume for caller ID announcement be turned off?
A: Yes it can. I had the Panasonic Cordless Phone set of 4 before. I bought another set because I had worn the numbers out on the key pad. It's worth every cent that I paid for it.

Classy looking phone; full of useful features
I bought this phone set because of its features and its classy looks - and it has not disappointed! It looks very nice in my home, and it takes up less space than my old set. It comes with a very big and thorough user's manual that is well written. The buttons and screen are very easy to read. Its clock has been spot on since I set it over a month ago. It fits my hand very well. This is an excellent buy!

Compact full feature land line set
Really nice set, ez to set up & use. Connect thru Bluetooth was a nice feature. Large & ez to use call blocker, love all the features this set has. My second set of Panasonic landlines. Only downside is the phone itself doesn't lite up when you have voicemail, have to remember to look at the base unit.
