A: You can use this unit with a landline phone service or you can use it only as Cellular line only mode (If you do not use the landline).

A: Thank you for your question! If you wish to turn off the ringer on the system, you can turn on the silent mode. However, you can also temporary turn off the ringer by pressing and holding the 0 key on each handset. After doing so, you will see an icon that looks like a bell with a line through it on the screen of the handset.
