Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this phone because my Uniden phone battery (25+ years old) would not hold a charge for more than two minutes. Very disappointed with the LCD display back lighting on this phone. It is so dim some one with eye problems like me can not see the number displayed. The key pad lighting is good but the LCD display has almost no light at all. Bought it on sale at best buy and would have taken it back but it would have cost me almost as much in gas and bridge tolls as the phone costs. I'm going to look for another phone with a brighter display. it's another example of you get what you pay for. I do not recommend this phone.

She hardly uses the phone but after a short time the phone no longer works right. When you try to dial the keypad doesn’t do anything. I just wanted a simple phone for my 94 year old mother to use. I am very disappointed with the Vtech CS6114. There warranty says you have to ship it back to them. The shipping alone will cost more then the phone. Skip this phone and spend a little more for a better phone.
