V-tech cordless phone system

Land Lines are more "privacy Protected".

This is the upgrade to land line phones that happened with the large switch to Cell phones. It allows you to carry the hand unit most any reasonable distance inside your house when not near base unit.

Good phone, horrible speakerphone

I first setup the wireless phone - which has a speakerphone - and it was great. Good range and a really good speakerphone. When I had time later I moved the main unit to my desk and used the speakerphone. It is HORRIBLE. Even on the quietest setting the sound is distorted like it is too loud. Turning up, turning down the volume changes, but the sound is terribly distorted. I have to return the phone and buy a different brand.

Home phone. Remember those?

This phone was easy to set up and operate, but the volume isn't great. Also, sometimes there is a little static but I don't know whether it's from the phone or the service provider.
