The cordless phone does not stay charged for long, maybe an hour. This does not have a headset hookup, wish it did. As I am on the phone throughout the day for work and make notes in my computer while on phone calls. Speaker has been used a lot. I would say it is okay if you just needed this for a house phone, but if you'll be talking a lot do not waste your money.

good phone short battery life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had V-tech phones for years and just replaced my 20 year old phone with the new version. The battery life is terrible, with my old phone, I could leave it off the charger overnight and still have full power the next day. With the new one, I'm lucky if it lasts 6 hours. The only reason I replaced the old phone was because the speaker did not work any more, I might go back to using the old one and use the new for backup.
